  We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The place is very quiet and private with no visible neighbours and the river running through the huge backyard. It was lovely relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. The house was very clean and comfy and it was great having 3 bathrooms as we were all headed out to class at the same time. Very close to all amenities. We will definitely come back!!

  My family and I rented Greg and Hally's wonderful house for the month of August and we had a great time. The house is both spacious and cozy feeling, with that beautiful, sloping back lawn down to the creek where deer roam. The hot tub was a real treat, especially after a nice hike during the day or just to gaze up at the stars at night. If you're a golfer, the nice nine-holer right next to the house is a good, inexpensive course. Greg could not have been more helpful and responsive with any question we had and his guides to the house and the gorgeous area in and around High Falls are detailed and well thought out. We can't say enough good things about the house and our stay. Can't wait to go back!

  We had such a wonderful time at this house! We rented the house for a weekend while some family members with small children were in town. The house was lovely - as mentioned in other reviews, it was spacious, clean and well supplied, with an AMAZING view from the back deck. It feels far away from everything, while still being accessible to amenities in town as well as lots of nature exploration options nearby. (The photos absolutely do not do justice to the house or to the backyard - it is definitely even bigger and lovelier than it looks!) The owners have done a great job in making the house comfortable for guests - with book and toys for children! - and they were very friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. We would absolutely come back here for a restful weekend outside the city.

  My husband and I along with some other friends (plus 3 dogs!) enjoyed a pleasant fall weekend here. The pictures on VRBO do NOT do this property justice. It is even lovelier than the pictures convey. The location is great as it's secluded enough so that you feel like you're able to get away from it all, yet close enough to area attractions. The house itself was quite spacious and comfortable. The large number of windows and doors in the house allow an amazing amount of light in, which was very nice and made the house feel quite cozy. It was simply and tastefully decorated. The view from the deck is just breathtaking. It was just so relaxing to be able to sit on the deck and admire the landscape. There were plenty of amenities and to top it off, Greg, the owner, was very friendly and responsive to questions and concerns. Overall, it was truly great experience. We’d definitely come back in the future and would high recommend this place.

  My wife & I and our two dogs spent four relaxing nights at this beautiful house in High Falls, NY. The house is on a multi-acre property, overlooking a creek and is very private. Woke up a few mornings to deer in the backyard. Numerous hiking opportunities are very local: Mohonk Mountain House is only a 10 min drive and the beautiful state park of Minnewaska is less than 30 min. The owner Greg was very helpful as well as patient with all of our numerous requests/questions. Highly recommended!
