Muskoka Lodge is located on 3 acres overlooking Lake Glenville in the private Glenshore community in the western mountains of North Carolina. The Lodge was built in 1997 by the four Resch brothers with the intent of of having annual family reunions.
The Lodge comfortably sleeps 26 with four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the third level and a lower dormitory, sleeping 18, with large separate his and hers bathrooms and dressing facilities. The main floor features a large great room, fully equipped kitchen, library/TV room, wet bar, 60' deck overlooking the lake and both indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
The Lodge's 200' of shoreline provide ample space to enjoy numerous recreational activities from our private boat dock: swimming, boating, tubing, water skiing, fishing and pontooning.
The Smoky Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop for all types of family activities. Fed by waterfalls and mountain streams, Lake Glenville is one of the most pristine lakes in the country. At 4,100 feet of elevation, it is the highest lake east of the Mississippi.
There is world class golf, tennis, hiking, biking, horseback riding, sliding waterfalls and trout fishing near the Lodge. The charming towns of Cashiers and Highlands are nearby and offer shopping and restaurants.

Why the Owner Chose Cashiers
The Lodge was built in 1997 by the four Resch brothers. Two are from Florida and two are from Cleveland. This was in between our homes. We have had an annual family reunion for the past 12 years and have truly grown to love the beauty of the mountains. There are so many activities available in the area and every single age group can be happy from the youngest grandchildren to the grandparents.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We always spend many hours on the lake. The children especially enjoy tubing. We also love the outdoor fireplace on the deck. The hiking in the Glenshore community is particularly beautiful.
