This cabin is located right on Snowbird Creek, well known for its excellent fishing. The county also boasts of numerous hiking trails as there is so much national forest land here. This is the perfect place to relax after a day of fishing or hiking.
The cabin is a well made, less than 10 years old. It is in pristine condition and beautifully furnished. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer and satellite television. The bedrooms consist of a queen master upstairs, another bedroom with queen and a twin bedroom on the main level. The master (upstairs) has a private bath while the two rooms on the lower floor share a full bath. The cabin has central climate control and all of the amenities you would expect to find in an upscale property. The cabin is located about eight miles west of Robbinsville. Note: This cabin has no phone, but cell phones seem to work fine.

Why the Owner Chose Robbinsville
We wanted to have a cabin on a trout stream, Snowbird is a truly overlooked treasure with (at times) monster wild trout! Aside from that the area is full of things to do outdoors. The Poplar Cove in Joyce Kilmer, and the Slickrock wilderness is 15 min, the Nantahala river is 25 min, you can hop on your mountain bike at the cabin and hit the old rail trails that follow the creek. The Tsali Mountain Bike and Horse Back area is 35 min away. The Snowbird Backcountry is 7 miles from the driveway, with miles of trails, wild trout water, and four sizeable and beautiful waterfalls. We are 10 min from the Cherohala Skyway and all of the trails (and views) which can be accessed from it. There are many charming mountain towns in the area to explore; Bryson City, Cherokee, Sylva, Dillsboro, Franklin, Andrews and Murphy are within an hour's drive.

Relaxing away from the daily demands of life! Winter fishing for the steelhead, rainbows, and browns that run out of Santeetlah Lake in December, January, and February. Trout dinners at Katies's Kitchen. Shopping in the small towns. Sitting on the back porch listening to the creek. Opening the windows in the cool evenings (spring, summer, and fall)and falling asleep to the sounds of the creek. Wish I were there now!
