Hermosa Beach and adjacent neighboring Manhattan Beach host the best summer beach experience in Southern California. Our three bedroom, two and a half bath California Beach Contemporary home comfortably sleeps six and can easily handle up to eight. The main living level boasts a bright, spacious living and dining area with vaulted ceilings. Adjacent is the open plan and newly remodeled kitchen with breakfast area. Kids can enjoy their own space in the family room and home theater. Enjoy the sun, entertain and dine on the large private rooftop patio. There is a two car garage for secure parking and storing all your beach toys. Additionally, there is ample street parking. There are bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas and miscellaneous beach stuff for use upon request.
We are a short two and half block stroll to the spectacular beach, centered directly between the two famous piers of Manhattan and Hermosa. All within walking distance, or quick bike ride, you can cruise along the beachside strand to the town centers of Hermosa or Manhattan for shopping, dining and festive nightlife. Really close are a neighborhood market, large beautiful Valley park, running trail, fine and casual restaurants, and one of Hermosa's legendary bars. On most days, you can admire the playful dolphins while relaxing on the clean white sand beach. Dozens of public volleyball courts are scattered in either direction along the beach, and summer south swell makes for fun surfing.
Our place is located in a desirable location at the northern end of Hermosa Beach. Conveniently located fifteen minutes from Los Angeles Int'l Airport (LAX); 30 minutes to the "Westside" (West Los Angeles/Santa Monica area); 30 minutes to downtown Los Angeles or Hollywood or Long Beach; 45 minutes to Disneyland and Orange County; two hours to San Diego, Santa Barbara, or Palm Springs.
