Wonderful location! A short beautiful walk to the beach. Cute little house, that was child friendly. There were some toys and high chair provided. My one complaint is the patio is suppose to an outdoor living space but it is covered in dog fur and stinks like an old dog. Plus the outdoor furniture is old and not comfortable to sit on.

My wife, daughter (5 yr old) and I stayed at the Bamboo Beach House recently and were very pleased. The amenities were very well thought out, it was clean and very conveniently located to beach, local park and shopping.

I had an excellent stay at the Bamboo Beach Cottage. It was just the right size for my son and I (it is quite small excellent for 2 to 3 people though). The property was clean with good beach amenities (bikes, chairs, boogie boards, etc). It is also close to Cardiff so we walked everywhere, whether to the market or for dinner. Also loved the state beach parking pass, that came in handy.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Loved this place. It was exactly as described!! Very clean and VERY cozy! Great location. Everything was close enough to walk to. The beach was just a short walk away. The park just down the street was an added bonus. Also the reserved parking spot is an important item in beach communities. We will be back next year!!!

Lovely Cardiff Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. The property was exactly what we were expecting, very clean and quiet and a short walk to the beach. We brought our mountain bikes so we were able to bike to everything we wanted to do most of the time. Close to great restaurants and grocery shopping, and there is a lovely park within walking distance to the cottage which is a great place to play frisbee or just watch the kids play and the sunset at the same time! The owners were easy to work with and we felt that our privacy was respected but if we needed anything, they were right there to help. Excellent VRBO rental! Our 9 year old was very comfortable sleeping on the convertible bed and she wanted to stay longer!

The bamboo beach cottege was perfect for our family with 2 small kids. It was very well decorated and cozy. Also very clean and very close to the ocean. We brought our bikes and were able to bike all around the area. Sean and Erika are extremely helpful and it was so nice to talk to them and get an idea of things to do in the ares. I had looked at A LOT of places on line and needed something reasonably priced. I don't think I could have madea better choice. We can't wait to visit again!

Fun At Bamboo Cottage

The Bamboo Cottage is a fun place to stay. The owners are super-friendly, the place has easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants and the market, and it was clean. There is a park a half block away. The kitchen is small but use-able. The bed is comfortable. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Hi We, me and my sons leave back home early friday morning. Thank you, i just loved this little cottage, cardiff and california, everything has been just lovely and better than i ever hoped for. My guests loved this too. I So much hope i can come here back soon and rent your cottage again. I almost envy people who can live here, but Finland is wonderful too and at this point After 8 weeks Im So ready to go home, which was also the point, to stay So long time to be eager to get back home. Hello... we arrived home safely and wanted to drop you a note. We enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage. I don't think the photos on the website begin to do it justice. It was well appointed and lovely in every way. The decor was delightful (the airbrushing on the surfboad was beautiful and the framed tropical "window" in the bedroom made it feel more open) and the bed comfortable. We loved our month’s vacation here, especially the location. It was an easy walk to the beach, the awesome Seaside Market, and the park where we played with our 2 yr. old granddaughter. Erika and Sean, the owners, are so friendly and were very responsive to anything we needed. They have carefully thought out every detail that a vacationer might want. The washer/dryer came in very handy too. Thanks so much for making our visit so enjoyable!

This is the most relaxing place to stay. It is so quiet with only the sound of the ocean waves. The location is excellent for walking to the beach, restaurants, park and neighborhood market. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway close to the beach.

From: Chris and Lea, Travel Nurses We enjoyed living in the Cardiff unit because of its private bamboo enclosed space, cozy atmosphere, and quiet neighborhood. One of the best parts about living there was being able to hear the sounds of the ocean every night. The location of the apartment is perfect because of its proximity to the park, beach, restaurants and Seaside Market. Our landlord treated us as friends, and made us feel like it was our home rather than part of theirs.
