  Visited the Sea Stars Cottage in October and could not have been happier. The house is terrific, the beaches were beautiful and the weather was absolutely perfect. This is a great house for a family vacation. The house was clean and well furnished. The kitchen was great with plenty of cooking utensils and cookware, well stocked dishes, cups and silverware. The house is only 40 yards from the Gulf. The cottage is located far enough away from the 'touristy' area of Gulf Shores, but close enough to get to the great restaurants and activities in just a few minutes.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

  Sherry, Thanks again for sharing your house with us "Beth's Crew"... We could not have asked for a more charming, comfortable place to stay during our "Girl's" getaway. Everything we needed was there for our use. This will definitely be an annual trip for us. Thanks again and SEE YA NEXT YEAR!

  My wife and I just returned from an extended weekend at Sea Stars. Being a former "local" to this area, it's often difficult for me to find a place in Gulf Shores that has the slower pace of life that used to be the norm here. Well, we found it at Sea Stars. The home (yes, I called it a home because it feels like a home, not a rental property) has a unique feeling among beach rentals. The unique feeling that we experienced is that of comfort. I can't exactly place my finger on it. Maybe it's the super functional floor plan, the awesome kitchen, or the cool decorations? I am not exactly sure what I liked so much about Sea Stars, other than the fact that everything just worked together so well. This really is a great home...that just happens to be on the beach and is available for renting. The location on West Beach provided convenience for shopping and attractions, but was less congested than what you typically see on the eastern end of the island. This is a great place.

  My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our stay at Sea Stars. It was perfect for our "Ya-Ya" get-away -- all the comforts of home with the beach just steps away. It was great to be able to just relax and enjoy the view (and the dolphins playing), or indulge at the local restaurants and shops. We've decided to make it an annual vacation. Thanks, Sherry, for your hospitality!

  We just returned from our vacation at Sea Star Cottage. We had the most wonderful time. The cottage was far more that we had imagined - beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable. We spent hours of quality time inside and out. The location is perfect- private yet close to anything you may wish. The grandchildren enjoyed the beach,deep sea fishing,parasailing and an evening at The Hangout. I just enjoyed all their smiles and laughter!! We definately plan on returning, Thank you Sherry for letting us make your home ours for a while.

  Sea Stars is such an incredibly well decorated, immaculate and comfortable house on the beach The photos do not do justice. Location was perfect for my son's wedding. Family members ranged in age from 70 yrs. to 4 yrs. Sherry was wonderful to work with and so accommodating.

  This was our first time at Gulf Shores, so we really didn't know what to expect. Sherry's house was better than we could have imagined! It is calm, quiet, and verrrry clean, located a bit off the main drag but on the Gulf, which is what I was looking for. The house is really well-appointed, with great whimsical details perfect for a beach house. The kitchen is fabulous - six burner gas stove! - with wonderful seating areas and countertops. I'm sure you could fit a huge family in this place and still feel roomy and calm! Sherry was very responsive to our inquiry and easy to work with in terms of payment and key pickup. Great all around!!! Also - dog friendly!!! I wish I could have brought my pup!!!

  I stayed at this beach house last year - it is beautiful, airy and right on the beach. The kitchen is fantastic, as are all the rooms. I would love to return to this offering.

  I have stayed at Sea Stars Cottage three times, and wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else along the Gulf. We (girlfriends) had the time of our lives and were right at home in your magnificent home. Thank you! We'll be back.
