Just in time for summer! This newly constructed forest home will be furnished and ready for your Island vacation beginning May 30. Comfortable, casual furniture is on the way.
This delightful home is tucked in the forest in the center of Bald Head Island and sits on a spacious 1/2 acre lot. It's minutes by golf cart to the beach; the Market, Spa and shopping; and the Harbor Village.
Bald Head is accessible only by passenger ferry or private boat. Visitors and residents travel around the island by golf cart, bicycle or on foot.
Two golf carts and bicycles are included in your rental fee.
LOTS OF ROOM
The spacious, open floor-plan provides plenty of room for six guests. The first floor living room opens into the dining area with the deluxe kitchen just beyond. The kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the equipment you need.
Double doors open from the dining area to the large screened porch and the deck area equipped with a charcoal grill. The first floor bedroom and bathroom suite will be furnished with a queen bed and can be closed off from the rest of the downstairs area.
The master bedroom will have a king size bed. It opens onto a private balcony with a tree house view of the maritime forest. The third bedroom will be furnished with two twin beds. Each bedroom is decorated in a beach cottage motif. Each has its own bathroom with granite countertops and custom tile work.
It is stocked with books, videos, games and puzzles in case a rain cloud passes by.
LOTS TO DO
Your vacation includes a temporary membership in the beautiful Shoals Club located on the historic Cape Fear River point at the Eastern end of the Island. The Shoals Club has a full-size pool, separate children's pool, and a fitness center. Complementary towel service as well as beach-front chairs and umbrellas are included.
Enjoy a gourmet dinner in the Club dining room or grab a sandwich and a drink at the Tiki Bar.
Bald Head Island's 14 miles of beaches can be accessed at any of the 42 public beach entrances. We provide everything you need for a day of fun: boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, and beach towels.
You can also rent kayaks to explore the Island's creeks, bicycle to the Harbor for an outdoor lunch at Eb and Flo's, take a hike along one of the Island's nature trails, or enjoy a relaxing day at the newly-opened Spa next to the Maritime Market. You'll be just minutes away from all of the amenities by golf cart.
Our home is a non-smoking home and pets are not allowed.
