This awesome home sleeps 14-16 people comfortably. The three-story home features gulf views and is situated on a large corner lot in a fabulous location SOUTH of 30A that is convenient to bike paths, Draper Lake, restaurants and coffee shops.
Incredible Gulf views, and a short, 150-yard walk, to one of Santa Rosa’s nicest and least crowded beaches! Style, amenities, and spaciousness combine to make "Beach Buddy" one of the most sought after beach homes in the area for a relaxing and memorable family vacation. Decorative details include original works by local and international artists, hardwood flooring, and impressive updated furnishings not normally found in the other rental homes.
Wrap-around decks on the second and third floors are great for entertaining and watching the sunsets. Updated kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Great family home! Home features a huge farm table with seating for 10 and even more seating for meals at the counter.
Comfortable, "Beachy" decor! Master Bedroom Suite is on the top floor with Incredible Gulf Views, a private bath, two decks, a king size bed and 2 person hammock. The 2nd Master Bedroom Suite is also on the top floor, a private bath, deck with views of the Gulf and a queen size bed. The 3rd Bedroom is on the main level and has two decks a Full/Twin bunk bed that sleeps 3 and has a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The first floor has a 4th bedroom with a queen bed, a 5th bedroom that has 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a large TV/play area, ideal for children. There is a double vanity and full bath with access to pool and ground level patio. Every room in the house has deck or patio access plus TV and DVD player. Parking for 4 or 5 cars & laundry room.
The beach access is just steps away (150 yards) with no busy roads to cross. The access has showers, restrooms and a picnic area although public is also residential with limited parking.
When you are not at the beach, you can relax in the beautiful large landscaped yard that contains a large 32'X16' swimming pool and a palm tree shaded area that is spacious enough for large family gatherings. Walk across the street to the fresh seafood market and grill your dinner on the gas grill or Texas smoker provided for your use.

South Walton 17 mile hike & bike trail is right next to us with a spur going along one end of the property to the beach access.

Had a great time in your beautiful home. My wife and I had traveled to Pensacola a few days before where we stayed in a hotel. Our children and grandchildren came down to surprise my wife on her birthday. They arrived the night before and we came in the next morning. I had explained that an old army buddy had a home on the beach and I just wanted to see how he was doing. She didn't suspect a thing and was quite shocked when the kids came spilling out the front door. We had one good day on the beach before Tropical Storm Lee arrived and put a damper on things, but we still enjoyed the beach - just couldn't go into the water. The lifeguard did direct us to a tidal pool and our 14 year-old granddaughter found a baby sea turtle and released it, thereby saving its life -we hope. Great house made for an awesome time and wonderful celebration. The location is perfect, the pool was a big plus and we spent a lot of time in the wonderful kitchen. Had a great time and are most appreciative of your beautiful home which was spacious and accommodated a family of 16 ranging in age of 3 to 70.

Beach Buddy is perfect for our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children ages 2-9. Close to the beach, well equipped both inside and out (grills, beach toys, chairs, wagon, coolers,etc.), light and airy, very clean, attractive, etc. The pool is great for our young ones and the pool enclosure sets adult minds to rest. We even walked the little ones out for pizza during their parents' "date night"! Love the many decks and the double bunk room downstairs! Owners are extremely easy to work with. We've already booked for next year!!

We loved the Santa Rosa Beach area and loved the Beach Buddy even more. What a great vacation home - perfect for our needs. Great location - very near the beach and close to everything - restaurants, shopping, 15-20 minutes to Destin. (Highly recommend renting a pontoon boat in Destin and going to Crab Island for the day.) The owners were super nice and very helpful - they gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The home was very well stocked from the kitchen (the Margarita maker!) to the quality linens and towels. There were plenty of sand toys, beach chairs, 2 coolers and 2 chairs to use on the beach. The pool area got a work out when we were there for sure! We had such a good time - and can't wait to come back.

Thanks for making this a great vacation for our family! Description of the property & beach area & facilities just couldn't be more accurate. The home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking, the kitchen table is huge (great gathering spot for talking & snacking!), bedrooms were clean & comfy and the house was well decorated. We loved the pool, nicely fenced to keep little ones safe and plenty of yard for hanging out. Beach is just a few minutes walk & the heavy duty yellow wagon was perfect for carrying all our stuff! I must say the owners are wonderful to work with, provided unlimited info as to activities, restaurants, etc - although we enjoyed the house & pool so much, we didn't bother to go anywhere. Just an awesome trip!!!

We loved, loved, loved this house. It was perfect for our vacation and the small wedding reception we had in the back yard after our daughter's wedding on the beach. It is very clean and well kept with so much room. The beach was a short walk and the Goatfeathers restaurant across the street was wonderful. We would recommend this home for your vacation!!!! The owners are very approachable and helpful with any needs you may have.

We've stayed all over the world in different houses. This was by far the best equipped. We are a family of 10 with 4 small children. The blender made great snowballs and the grill is right outside the kitchen door. The pool was large and gated. There is a wagon to take your stuff to the beach and there were even Beach. Best of all the dining table sat all of us comfortably.

The weather was perfect and NO OIL! The owners were great to work with the entire time - whether we had questions about the beach conditions, the facilities, or bedroom sleeping areas. Originally we had some concerns about the oil scare, but with such a wonderful pool, we decided to make the trip and were very glad we did. The house is beautiful and extremely well stocked for large groups like ours. The many porches gave us a lot of room to sit and read or enjoy the views. The beach is only a short walk away - and there is a wagon to help you cart your belongings. We're hoping to be repeat customers!

This house is amazing! It provided so much room for my friends and I during our Spring Break. It is in the perfect location, at the heart of Santa Rosa. The beach is just a short walk down the road. Next door is Goatfeathers, a restaurant with a great menu and a great happy hour! The pool was spacious and clean. We had such an amazing time and loved everything about this house.

What a treat - To find an excellent beach home, great location and even better.....the owners, Steve and Shirley are awesome! The location of the home is near the beach (very near), restaurants, shops and I personally enjoyed the wide sidewalks that go for miles to jog/walk each morning. The home has a well stocked kitchen that will seat more people than you'd EVER want to feed, wonderful comfy beds and all the other comforts of home. A nice surprise is the ample back yard with a relaxing pool of your very own! And your crowd can all bring their own cars because there is plenty of room to park as well. Thanks again for your hospitality and we look forward to staying at Beach Buddy again in May of 2011 with our daughter and her wedding party!

This house is fantastic. Plenty of room for large groups of people and the most well appointed rental home I've ever been in. All the furnishings are good quality and in excellent shape. Most rental homes are usually filled with shoddy furniture and most of the time, something is broken. Not at Beach Buddy. This place is well cared for which obviously reflects on the owners who go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. Short walk to the beach, fresh seafood market across the street, private pool, large deck with plenty of seating....I could go on and on about this house. If you want a great house and great price, Beach Buddy should be your vacation rental. I can almost assure you that we will be repeat renters of Beach Buddy!!
