Noteworthy is a lovely, clean, quiet & well maintained home. My family and I were comfortable & completely enjoyed our short walk to the beach (you can't get any closer!) as well as the provided linens, towels and beach equipment. Kitchen is also stocked with a wide variety of cooking tools. Beautiful views of the ocean from the front porch. We plan on returning next year! Many thanks Beverly.

My husband and I spent a week at Noteworthy and we absolutely loved it! The house was perfectly clean and beautiful and stocked with everything you could possible want and the view was fabulous. Great beach house

I stayed at this house with a few friends for a long weekend this March. The house was absolutely beautiful, and even after seeing the pictures we were all so pleasantly surprised about how close to the beach it was. It was wonderful to be able to walk right off the deck to the beach, and to see the waves from almost every room. Even when it rained, the house itself was so nice that we had a great time just relaxing inside. Also, the owner of the house made the whole rental process very straightforward and simple. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Fun Family Vacation Spot

We rented noteworthy for a week last summer. We have 4 children under 12 and the convenience to the beach, pier, and local spots that this property afforded was priceless. We loved the two sitting areas and the kids took over the loft and made it their special hideaway. It was clean and lovely. We were sad that our week ended as quickly as it did. Thanks for having us.

Owner response:Thanks to the many families who had an appreciation for Noteworthy last summer and fall. Our goal is to provide a home environment with colorful surroundings and easy access to the beach. With the porch, the deck and the walk-way to the dunes, there is plenty of outside space for guests to commune with each other or have quiet hammock time in the breeze-way near the deck. The pictures on the VRBO website relay the warm and inviting setting that is indeed NOTEWORTHY!

Not too big -- not too small!! Not too elaborate -- not too rustic!! Not too far from town -- not too close!! Everything about this house was "just right"!! Even the pillows -- "just right"!! The beds were comfortable, and the linens were so nice! The kitchen was furnished with everything you could possibly need -- there's even a wine cooler!!. The convenience of a washer & dryer was wonderful. There are two living rooms with bright-colored suede sofas & chairs - perfect for snuggling with a good book or nap. Several TV's with full cable. Right on the beach with full view of the ocean from downstairs & upstairs. In addition to all of the above, the Hazelwoods are gracious landlords.

our family stayed the week after christmas....and could think of no better way to ring in the new year.the owner was great to work with and the house met all our needs and wants. love being so close to the pier... great daily walk.

Beautiful and Peaceful Location

My husband, sister, brother-in-law and I had a wonderful visit during our week long stay. It was so peaceful to wake up to the ocean and play on the beach. We also visited Southport, Bald Head Island and Caswell Beach. Our small doggies walked the beach with us and got lots of exercise. We'll be returning!

Noteworthy was exactly what we wanted...clean, comfortable, pet friendly, and steps from the beach. Beverly and her husband were wonderful hosts. The house is well furnished and has a prime location. I am hesitant to say how wonderful Oak Island is...becasue I don't want it to get too crowded. It had just the right amount of people with great shopping and restaurants. We also loved Southport, and it is only 10 minutes away. I would recommend Oak Island and Noteworthy to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
