From the moment you enter "Noteworthy" you will be transformed by the panoramic views of this oceanfront delight. We have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure the comfort and relaxation of our guests.
This turn-key retreat includes high thread count, all cotton sheets, linens and towels... cable TV/DVD... high speed internet.. a variety of cards, board games & videos for your family to enjoy...all at no added cost.
The kitchen is equipped with the appropriate pots, pans and gadgets so you can can easily whip up a meal from the abundance of fresh, local seafood and produce available on the island. We included a high chair to accommodate families with babies. The open plan first floor includes the kitchen, dining and living rooms. All of those rooms have expansive views of the ocean. The master is also located on the first floor and is equipped with cable TV/DVD. There is a first floor laundry.
The second floor is perfect for families with young children or teens. A large loft area has two queen sofa beds, a game table, cable TV/DVD. There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor, one has a full-size crib. All bedrooms have comfortable queen beds. Our guests travel lightly, we include beach chairs, beach towels and even beach toys for the kids. There is an enclosed outside shower...a few steps from a double hammock.
Oak Island has a large supermarket, many local casual restaurants and a local park... all are within a 3-5 minute drive of "Noteworthy".
We do allow 1 extremely well-behaved mature dog that has been pre-treated for fleas and ticks. We do not charge for your dog... as long as the house rules are followed and the house is left exactly as you found it... with no evidence of the dog inside or outside of the house.

Bill and I live in South Carolina. We enjoy family and friends at the beach as well as in the mountains. We are especially enjoying making new friends through our VRBO guests. Bill works in healthcare and I am a church organist.
Our goal is to have happy renters!

Oak Island has beautiful beaches and is a quiet family environment. Southport is a charming seaside village 10 minutes from Oak Island.
