This is our private lake house that has been completely renovated in the last 5 years with all new appliances and flooring. It is approximately 2000 square feet. You will not find a cleaner home and well taken care of then this one. Fantastic view from all three levels. Covered decks on two levels.
All new appliances, dishes and utensils are included with everything you need for your food preparation.
The main room is vaulted. The vaulted living room includes a full fireplace. There are 2 patio doors overlooking the lake from the living room that opens to a covered deck with two tables and lounge chairs. There is a gas grill on the lower deck for your convenience. Both the decks overlook the beautiful "quiet" and large cove. This cove is great for all types of water sports without fighting the traffic in the main channel.
Bedroom #1 is upstairs as a loft setting with 1-queen bed and a full bathroom. This room has a breathtaking view of the lake through the full glass side of the home. This area also has a sitting area with a private TV. Ceiling fan is in this area for comfort.
Bedrooms #2 and #3 are on the main level. #2 includes 1-queen size bed with full bathroom available at the end of the hall. #3 includes 1-queen bed also with accessibility to the bath at the end of the hall. Both rooms have ceiling fans for comfort.
Bedroom #4 downstairs includes 1-queen bed and a private TV with your own private full bathroom and a full sitting area. The lower level includes a full couch. This room also has a ceiling fan for comfort.
There is a swim platform on the dock. It includes good deep water for swimming or parking your boat. We also offer 4 high top chairs and a table for your enjoyment and a dock ladder. The cove is wide and peaceful. The house sits in middle of "Workman's Cove" if looking on the map. We also have a community boat dock that has available a 24' slip to park your boat/wave runners at night.
We are approx 1 1/2 miles by road from the world famous "Horny Toad" complex. With many fabulous restaurants, outlet shopping, championship golf, go carts, and the dam is just minutes away.
With the location of our house we don't think you could enjoy the lake anymore from any other location. We sure do!

We bought this home specifically because of the size of the cove and to this date can not find another cove of its kind that we like. The depth of the water around the dock is plenty deep for the boats and swimming. We pride ourselves as family that takes very good care of our home. We spent a week at this lovely home, and that is just how you feel. We truly enjoyed the view and swimming in the cove. The weather was extremely warm and the house was a cool retreat when we got out of the water. The pool was pretty much ours. Greg and Carol thank you so much for sharing your slice of paradise with us. We loved it! I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I visited this vacation home on July 24. We were disappointed in the response of the owner's when we encountered a problem. One of the four bedrooms was unusable due to the fact that the air conditioning duct was not attached to the vent, and was blowing cool air into the crawl space beneath the house. We were experiencing unusually hot weather during those few days, and therefore closed off that bedroom, as the air conditioning was continuing to run with little relief. We called the owners as soon as we discovered the problem, which was a few hours after our arrival. We explained the problem, and they were very empathetic and told us they would have a repair person come that evening or the next morning. We did not hear anything that evening so moved the mattress out of that bedroom to the upper level and our grandson and granddaughter shared that room, though it was a large master, and my son and daughter-in-law planned to use that room. But we were sure by the next morning they would send someone to repair the problem. We did not hear another word about it. The grandchildren continued to use the upper level room for the duration of our stay. We contacted the owner after returning home explaining our disappointment that we had paid for four bedrooms so our entire family could have privacy and space, but only had three usable bedrooms. We could have rented a three bedroom unit for our vacation for considerably less money. The owner was unwilling to make any adjustments only saying they could not control the weather. This was really not a weather problem, but a maintenance problem. The house is a nice one, the decks are spacious. The kitchen is small but functional, only a very small bar height table in the kitchen, but there are tables and chairs on the decks for dining if suitable weather. We would not recommend this property due to the fact that the owner is rather apathetic.
Owner response:We are sorry that this client did not have a great experience. We did talk to the client 2or3 times. We said we would see what we could do. It was the weekend and I did try to call the repair man and ask him to call me. Unfortunately do to the weekend and he had a backlog of calls from the heat so he could not come out over the weekend. We experienced the 2nd hottest summer on record with temperatures over 100 degrees. The entire back of the home is all glass so during the excessive heat the sun can come in and make it challenging to cool. The air conditioner is only 4 years old and we had a larger one put in at that time to help compensate for that. But when the temps are over 100 and not cooling down at night it can be difficult. We did go down the next week and check it out and it was working fine. In fact the clients before and after had no issues at all. No one else has had any issue sense then. If anything would have been wrong we would have fix it. We have had many letters from all our clients that state it was the best places they had stayed. This particular client even sent me a message stating "Wanted you to know we did truly enjoy your vacation home." and " This did not spoil our vacation". The weather was excessively hot and we have no control over that. They did leave the place in good shape and we refunded their deposit in full.

This home is just as advertised. There are 3 levels and all 3 have views of the Lake. The view at night is magical, with the lights coming off the Lake. The kitchen is well equipped. We appreciated the fact linens are provided, as we came from California and didn't want to have to transport linens. The location is approximately 12-15 miles from Osage Beach activities--so close enough, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the lake. There is a pool, though it wasn't yet operational for the season. We loved the fact the home is used by the owners, as it truly feels like a home, and not a sterile rental. The owner of the home was very friendly and accomodating.
