This house typifies the term "Beach House". You cannot beat the location of this house if you are an ocean lover and particularly a surfer. There is a 180 degree ocean view with multiple surfbreaks in view. Even non-surfers will enjoy watching the surfers from the deck.
The beach is only a few steps away and there are another three beaches within walking distance. The tidepools are rich and are well worth an afternoon's exploration.
The house itself is on three levels. The top level has the kitchen, living room and main bedroom with a balcony overlooking the ocean and a full bathroom. There is a fireplace here which gives a real cozy atmosphere in the winter months. The second level has a bedroom with two single beds and a full bathroom. This level is where the covered terrace and deck are found and this becomes the outdoor living room.
The bottom level has a courtyard, where ping pong can be played. The garage, laundry and storage room are all found here as well. One bedroom with a double bed and attached Bathroom is also on the 1st floor.
Fresh seafood is available year round at very reasonable prices and the quality is excellent. They'll deliver to the house so you can enjoy it with the view.
The neighborhood has a security team and a clean-up and maintenance crew so that the entire area is both very safe and clean and attractive. Even the local hero, former World Surfing Champion Sophia Mulanovich lives here.

Hi. I'm a Biology teacher in International Schools and I purchased this home while working at Colegio Roosevelt (the American School of Lima). It's one of the best things I've ever done as living here was a dream come true. I love to surf and the proximity of all the great waves, the peace of Punta Hermosa as opposed to the noise of Lima, and the "beach life" was unforgettable.
Why the Owner Chose Punta Hermosa
It's fantastic. There's little better than living right on the Pacific with great waves all around. There are my home breaks of Caballeros (right) and Senoritas (left) steps away and a few more a short walk (up to 15 min) away. Within 5 km of the property in either direction, there are 19 breaks. My friends and I, surfers and non-surfers alike, never tire of sitting on the balcony watching surfers, big wave surfers towing into Pico Alto, watching the birdlife (pelicans, boobies, oystercatchers etc) and enjoying those sunsets over the Pacific. Sweet indeed.
The Unique Benefits of this Beach House
First and foremost, it is about living so close to the ocean. There are 180 degree views with multiple surf breaks visible from the deck and balcony. I love sitting back enjoying a drink and watching the waves and birds. A local fisherman, Marcelo, who runs a simple restaurant will deliver delicious ceviche, fish and seafood dishes right to the house so you can enjoy the meals on the terrace. It can't be beat.
