Why the Owner Chose Montague
The vacation home was originally purchased simply for our family. We are presently at a point in our lives where it is not being used much because of busy schedules, so we have decided to rent it out. Eventually, we will all use it again
The Unique Benefits at this House
This property has a beautiful view of Lake Michigan with its own beach frontage. It is large and spacious, with two levels of decks. There is a private road leading into the beach house that is wooded and approximately 3/4 of a mile long. It is a beautiful location for both beach and woods walks.

This is a family cottage that we have stayed in since I was a child. We lived in Illinois and spent the summers at the cottage. I loved the area so much I eventually moved to Montague and now work as a consultant in Muskegon

We stayed at this Beach House the week of July 23rd. The house is as described and so very much more. If you don't mind stairs this is the way to go. Main bedroom upstairs and the kids downstairs....we have a 18 and 21 year old. We spent every morning and evening on the upstairs deck. The hammock on the lower deck saw alot of usage too! Sadly the beach was washed out when we were there but there was plenty of room for our chairs and kayaks...so it didn't really matter. When we had checked it out in the spring there was plenty of beach...but you can't argue with Lake Michigan and Mother Nature. Would we stay there again? Definitely!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
