We love Tofino, we love the close proximity to the beach, we could ask nothing more of this cottage! We slept with the windows open and listened to the waves each night. Our girls loved playing on the BEAUTIFUL beach. We made fires on the beach and made s'mores nightly. Look no further!!! Thank you!!!

Hi Edie………just wanted to let you know how much we loved your townhouse and what a wonderful time we had. The townhouse was above and beyond what I had expected. The location is amazing and having that view really added to the experience. The weather was good except we experienced some of the Tofino mist but that was ok, we were aware that goes on. I must say I was so impressed by everyone who had dogs there. They were all very responsible and I saw no dog droppings either on the property or on the beach. Needless to say our little dog absolutely loved it being able to run free on the beach like that and socialize with the other dogs. We had 12 hrs without power but it wasn’t a problem because it was from about 8pm at night to around 8am the next morning. All part of the experience. We took and excursion from Tofino to see the bears. We had never done that before and it was truly a delight. Edie, We had an amazing week in Tofino and we love your home there. We all agree that it was our best family holiday. The kids were thrilled with the triple bunk bed - such a whimsical and unique piece. My husband surfed every day and the kids did surfing lessons at Cox Bay. We biked every day along the beach with our dog racing along behind us and a kite tied to the back of my daughter's bike. We found we could spend endless hours at the beach - biking, kayaking, walking, beachcombing, playing games, reading etc. As a mother, it was the most relaxing family holiday I have had - no need for planning and organizing - everybody was content to enjoy Tofino Waves and Chesterman. We would love to go back to Tofino Waves - perhaps for one winter surfing trip and for a week next summer. We were so taken with the place that we were even looking at local real estate! If Tofino Waves or another unit in the development comes up for sale, we would love to know about it. Thanks again for a wonderful experience. Edie Thank you for the use of the condo. Our trip was excellent! The condo made a perfect "home base" By the way what is the master bedroom mattress? it was super comfortable. We hiking the lighthouse portion of the Wild Pacific Trail, took a boat trip to the hot springs, and had 1 day of charter fishing. I selected the charter based on the brand of boat and chose West Edge Charters. His name is Jason Williamson and I'd recommend him to anyone. very personable, good skipper- and we all caught our limits of chinook, coho, and halibut! We took the fish to a sport fishing packer called Fishfull Thinking in Uclulet and wound up taking home over 60 pounds of fish. Of course we also simply enjoyed the beach and sunset. Hi there, We just got back from a fabulous holiday at Tofino waves. I just wanted to let you know everything looks great there and to say "thanks" for setting up such a fantastic holiday home. We would also love it if you would adopt our family! Just kidding but we definately hope to be back sooner rather than later. This was my first mothers day (we have a 7 month old) and there is no where I would rather be than surfer at Chestermans with my little family. What a stroke of luck that I happened on your website and discovered your place. When we weren't on the beach (and it was such a pleasant surprise to discover that it was just a very short walk away) we basically holed up in the condo with a good supply of books, food and wine and I must say that we were totally comfortable. We had intended to have dinner out but I couldn't resist the opportunity to cook in such a well equipped kitchen. Thanks again Edie and Larry - we are already planning our return visit! We are back!!!! We had a marvelous time… what a great vacation home you have. I’m sorry I missed your visit…. I was at the beach with hubby and girls watching while they tried surfing! The three girls were amazed at the bunk bed. Actually we all were – made sure we took a lot of pics to show everyone! The weather was okay, not really sunny but that was okay too. We very much enjoyed our stay and got to do all of the activities we had planned for, although we did not see any whales due to rough seas, we did have a pleasant inlet tour, and a free whale watching trip next time. 09/05/03 hi,edie.thanks for the use of your place.we enjoyed it thoroughly and appreciated all the comforts of the place.we thought it was well organized,the kids LOVED the kids room and we thought the dvd-vcr-tv was nice for lazy days:we also appreciated the barbecue which i think is the right size for a family of 5,and grilled perfectly every time.all in all,a nice time had by all,and we`ll definitely consider renting it again in the future.regards,jan,eileen + kids. Jan & Eileen Calgary 09/05/03 N/A Homeowner-entered Comment: Hi Edie Got back from Tofino earlier this week after staying in your home for 10 nights. It was a wonderful visit - we had picture perfect weather - rained on one day but warm and sunny the rest of the time (unusual for August I think?). I didn't even open my black and white film that I had brought to get foggy day photos! The condo is beautiful, well equipped and really comfortable for a family with children - the kids loved, loved, loved the bunkbed, the movies and the games (especially monopoly which they had never played before). The kitchen was great - especially liked the Braun hand blender for dressings - unexpected but great to have! it was excellent - great selection of condiments! Just wanted to express our thanks and appreciation. Have a wonderful fall and winter and I hope that we will be in touch for next summer. Denise Edie, we had a terrific time. The weather was incredible for February - not a breath of wind and actually quite sunny our last few days. Our 4 year old daughter really enjoyed the beach and our Westie (dog) Rosie was pretty popular. We had more people recognize our dog on the ferry ride home after her friendly visits on the beach. We will definitely be coming back and will highly recommend your townhome. Your place was immaculate. Whoever does your cleaning does a wonderful job. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place.
