This unit is BEACH FRONT with a direct, unobstructed view of the gulf.
Located on the 3rd floor (1st level is covered parking), the unit is just above 1 of the 2 complex pools. The unit is fully furnished and professionally decorated with a Caribbean theme. It has lot’s of great artwork and other wall decorations throughout the space. Kitchen is fully equipped and unit features ceramic tile flooring throughout. Floor plan will sleep 6 comfortably:
* King bed in the master
* Queen sofa sleeper
* Hallway bunk beds
Unit also comes with its own RESERVED COVERED PARKING SPACE. What a nice amenity this is !!! Ever worry about getting into a hot vehicle during the summer ? Ever have to wait for the rain to stop before getting to or out of your vehicle ? No more of these concerns with this convenient feature.
In the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee on your balcony with an unobstructed view of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. At sunset, take a stroll along the beach to the Okaloosa Fishing Pier or Boardwalk. Enjoy access to two beachside swimming pools (one heated November – March), private beach walkover, exercise room, lighted tennis court, and a barbecue area. Beach service is available but not included.
Gulf Dunes Condominiums is one of the newer complexes on Okaloosa Island with approximately 425 (ft.) of beach front property. Complex has 6 floors (102 units), all accessible by elevator. Building exterior was recently painted and property is well landscaped.

I strongly recommend this place. Condo had an excellent view of the beach. Very clean, well furnished and can sleep 6 people (we comfortably stayed there with my wife and son). Owner is great - very easy to work with. We had an issue with the AC and he sent us a repair guy the same day and then followed up to make sure everything was good. In prior years we've stayed at Nautilus just down the road, but now we will be coming back to this place as it offers much better value.

This condo was perfect for our small family of 3. It was very clean and nicely decorated with a cool beach theme. Very convenient to everything. We could even walk to our favorite restaurant, The Crab Trap. Beautiful gulf front view. What more could you ask for. Thanks for everything. We loved your place and hope stay here again in the future.

We stayed 3 nights. Wish it could have been longer, maybe next time. Condo has a very good view of the beach from the balcony. It was the right size for a family of 4. It was great not having to get into a hot car. It was nice having washer and dryer in condo. The owner was well organized. This was by first experience renting from VRBO.

After finding this property on VRBO and inquiring from the owner about its availability and price, we booked it. The owner provided all the information we needed, including helpful reminders of payments due at various points. On arrival, we found the unit clean, spacious and exactly as pictured on VRBO. Our stay was quite pleasant - the condo features a lovely balcony overlooking the Gulf and one of Gulf Dunes' pools. It is also conveniently located near the elevator, and the dedicated (shaded) parking space was an absolute bonus. The most pleasant surprise came when we returned home, requested a refund of our booking deposit and received it via PayPal in a matter of hours. This is a stress-free way to vacation in Fort Walton Beach.

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Fort Walton. The condo was prefect, loved the location and having the parking spot in the garage was super nice. Fort Walton had plenty of things to do and we were only minutes from Destin. The owner of this unit was awesome to work with. I would highly recommend this unit and I expect our family to be making return visits!

Just got back from a 4 night stay . Very nice place with balcony overlooking the beach. The condo was very clean & comfortable. Covered parking spot was nice. No hot car to get into. The owner was very helpful & organized. Will be going back for sure & will be staying at this condo again.

We had a great stay at this condo. Was leery about bunks in the hall and being quiet enough for the kids to sleep but it worked fine. Plenty of space for all four of us. Well kept condo in a well maintained property. Pool was never too busy and was nice the property managers had pool and beach toys for our kids to use. Even had tennis racquets we could use. Only bummer was that the grills are charcoal and the area was windy. Bed was comfy as was furniture. Great TV as well. Would stay again.
