Our luxury vacation residence is located up a private, gated, and paved road, approx. 640 ft. above sea level, within walking distance of Pfeiffer beach. Situated on the west side of scenic highway 1, the residential unit is three miles off the highway in a quiet part of Big Sur only accessible to residents and guests. The property boasts white-water views from the field in which the "immobile" home is permanently situated, and views of the ragged and stunning cliffs that define the magnificence of the Big Sur south coast, from another part of the property. The land on which trailer is situated, overlooks the world famous Pfeiffer Beach. You can enjoy ruby sunset views from the trailer. The beach is just a mile down the road. It is an easy walk for those who enjoy a gentle stroll.
For the adventurous hiker, there are numerous trails close to the property. One end of the Molera trail system is within walking distance. At low tide, especially during minus-tides, you can hike and explore the wildlife and tide pools unique to the pacific coast. Public access to Molera beach and trail system is approximately 5 miles driving distance.
The trailer-home is tastefully and simply furnished, and is equipped with everything you would need for a perfect stress-free vacation.
The Esalen Institute is approximately 15 miles south of the property. Enjoy a massage at Esalen, or from the many excellent massage therapists in Big Sur. In-house massages are available. Visitors can enjoy star gazing late at night from the hot-tubs at Esalen by appointment.
There are many surfing spots close to the property. Pfeiffer and Molera beach surf are among the favorites. Private surf lessons can be arranged.
