Adorable Private Guest House in Downtown Medical District
5/5

Absolutely Wonderful

Date of Stay: 04/04/10 Review Submitted: 04/11/10

This was my first visit to Texas and Terri and Jimmy at the Baker Guest house models for Southern hospitality. The place was charming. When I arrived the kitchen was stocked with many staples such as milk, juice bottled water, coffee, cereal etc. They had also fresh baked some muffins for me. During the week they often called and offered to bring up a light supper plate. They shared their mother's birthday cake and gave me homemade cookies. They loaned me DVD's from their collection and were that wonderful combination of friendly but respectful of privacy. I would always stay here if I returned to the area.
