You will be greeted at the front door with a magnificent rock waterfall. The front porch is a great place to rock away your stress as you sip on your favorite beverage. This is what we call “porching” in the mountains.
The interior is warm with oversized logs, wood floors and decorated with a rustic flare. Rest and relax in the living area in front of the gas fireplace with your favorite book or engage in wonderful conversation with your friends and family. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining family and friends with the open area to the dining area.
The back deck is great for grilling, watching the sun set and enjoying the great outdoors. Nature is all around with deer, turkeys, birds and lush vegetation.
The master bedroom is on the main floor with a large garden tub and a walk-in shower. Walk upstairs to the two large guest bedrooms with their own private bath. Head down to the lower area and enjoy the gathering room with a large TV over the gas fireplace and relaxing furniture.

Friends of ours visited Lake Lure and fell in love with the area, so we made our way up to the resort the next summer. Guess what we feel in love with the area too. We then were on a mission to find a great vacation home that we could call our own. We found the perfect cabin get-a-way, it is different from all the rest, nestled in the woods with great character that says "Welcome to the Mountains!"
