  We stayed two nights at Panama`s Paradise Rafael`s House, on Isla Bastimentos. We stayed there with some friends we met on our travel and it was for sure one of the best places we stayed at. Rafael`s House is located in Old Bank, the Town of Isla Bastimentos, right on Main Street (not more than a small paved sidewalk) and with view on the sea. The house is great: there are two bedrooms and two single beds in the livingroom, a big kitchen and bathroom. In total there are 3 TV`s with Sky TV. There are balconies on both sides of the house. If you want to see what`s new in Town, you just lay down in the hammock on the front porch. Everybody has to pass by... If you want to chill out and read your book, take the back porch with seaview and palmtrees surrounding you. This is the place we spent our nights, drinking Pina Coladas, mmhhh... Rafael, the owner, lives under the house, but a lot of times he hangs out on the front porch, talking to all the locals. Not so easy to understand the language ¨Patua¨ they speak. Spanish seems easier to me and I don`t get much further than Si or No... Very amusing and interesting! He`s very helpfull and concerned that you see the best of his Island! Another plus about this place is that you can use bicycles for free when you visit Isla Colon, the Main Island of the Archipelago. I recommend visiting Playa Bluff, where they were filming Survivor and had all sorts of games going on! We also stayed some days at Isla Colon and we loved both. The two Islands are very different. A combiantion of the two is in my opinion the best. We found out that Panama`s Paradise also has cabanas on isla Colon. We saw the pictures and they look really good too. If we would have known that, for sure we would have stayed there some days too. Especially because the prices are not that much higher than the hostels we stayed at. So Panama`s Paradise, compliments to you! And Rafael: Wappin Man!

  My boyfriend and I stayed at Rafaels gorgeous house on Bastimentos Island for 5 nights. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The hammocks on the verandah were much used, and the kitchen is fully equipped so you don't have to go out for meals if you don't wish. We would highly reccomend anyone to stay at Rafaels house, we loved it. Cheers, Anna & Nick

  This is a perfect little house perched on the southern side of Bastimentos Island, right in the center of "town." There is a beautiful deck with two hammocks overlooking the ocean. The only problem is that there are not screens on the windows, so mosquitos come in at night. If you have a fan on you (which Rafael happily provided) then you are fine. The ceiling fans do not work well enough to keep the mosquitos away, so you really need an extra fan for sleeping. With that addition, this house is perfect!

  My girlfriend and I stayed in Rafael's House which is situated on Isla Bastimento. This little Appartment is managed as well by the kind and helpfull manager called "Jenny". The house provides two double bed rooms, kitchen, bathroom, cosy nice veranda. Everything seems to be done with certain love for details. So we felt like home from the very first beginning. We stayed there with another couple but you could also easily rent the "appartment" for your own. The nights on the veranda we will for sure never forget. Hearing the waves from the Sea just a few meters away and the mild temperature was awesome. So we could highly recommend this place.

  We absolutely loved it! The place was so cute, and it was located on Bastimentos Island, which is a quick boat ride away from the main island. It really gave you the Caribbean feel, and is away from all the tourism of Bocas Town. It was incredibly relaxing. The place was cleaned every day. We can't say enough good things

The complete house is $120/night. 
The big room is $50 and the small room is $45 a night
The two beds in the livingroom are $40 a night.
Pay 6 nights and get 1 night for FREE!
Plus 10% taxes.
Prices for high season are approximately 20% higher
