Location: Bleu Water is located on the convergence of two creeks under the redwoods, just minutes from downtown Cazadero. Duncans Mills shopping, kayak rentals, and dining is about five minutes away. The Pacific coast beaches are about ten minutes west.
House: Remodeled and furnished with great style, featuring hardwood floors throughout, everything about Bleu Water (~1100sf) sings "charm." The living room has open beam ceilings and features three distinct areas, each filled with comfortable seating and garden & forest views. There's a sitting/reading area at the entry, a cozy seating area with leather couch in front of a gas fireplace, and a nook with seating around a 32" Cable TV w/DVD. There is also a desk with a modem for high-speed Internet access. Off the sitting/reading area, the kitchen is small but efficient, with lots of natural light. The formal dining room with dining set for four has more great views, and opens to the wraparound deck. Sleeping four, the two bedrooms have queen beds and garden/forest views; one has a gas fireplace. The beautifully remodeled bath has shower only.
Grounds: In a stunning creek-side setting, Bleu Water offers a secluded, sunny half-acre of beautiful, mature landscaping, including a banana tree, along with natural creek bank vegetation and redwood trees. Fenced to the road and the neighbor (but not along the creek on one side of the property, so not escape proof for dogs), this property offers many micro-environments and room to play. The deck furnishings include a large hot tub, gas barbecue, picnic table and benches, and loungers. Down a flight of stairs, the spacious flagstone terrace features comfy chairs, firepit, and a pond, surrounded by gardens. Concrete steps lead to the creek. Since Austin Creek and Kidd Creek converge at this property, the creeks ripples along two sides of the grounds. This is absolutely one of our most gorgeous outdoor settings!
