Just a half of tank of gas away from the Front Range and the Denver area, we are located on Columbine Lake two miles from historic Grand Lake, Colorado, with views of Never Summer Range in Rocky Mountain National Park.
We are nestled outside the entrance to the park so you might wake up to a moose browsing nearby. Our private trout stocked lake is fresh, clear and spring fed.
Originally built as part of a private fishing camp in 1937, this historic hand-hewn log cabin sits on the lakeside of the road and is cozy and picture perfect!
Our charming cabin has been tastefully outfitted over the years with a bathroom, modern kitchen and sleeping porch. We hope you will enjoy the décor, the breathtaking views of the lake, and the rock patio and grill for outdoor entertaining.
Pets will be considered.
Located within White River National Forest the fire hazard can be extremely dangerous. Please comply with fire restrictions and regulations.
Parking is limited. No more than three vehicles maximum No on-road parking allowed.
No smoking. Pets will be considered on an individual basis with deposit.
Summer days can be filled with walking, hiking, biking, swimming, golf and exploring the park. OR read a book, snooze outside and enjoy lunch on the patio under the pines.

Wonderful mountain & lake retreat
Wonderful mountain & lake retreat
We really enjoyed our visit to this cozy cabin. It was well appointed for our hibernation weekend get away. Its in a great location within the Columbine Lake community and Grand Lake area. We especially enjoyed our morning cups of tea sitting on the patio and evening quiet time after days hiking and boating. A great escape in the heat of the summer - how wonderful to put on a jacket at night. Thanks Jan for your hospitality! Kim, Ken, Henry and Jackson
