Stay in our recently remodeled and fully furnished 1907 beach cottage. This property includes a living room, dining room, TV room/playroom, eat-in kitchen with new appliances, laundry room, and home office with DSL hook-up. There is full bath upstairs and a downstairs bath with shower. The 3 bedrooms are located upstairs with 2 Queen beds and 2 Twin beds in the "child's room."

There is a small front garden and a larger rear garden. This is the perfect home for a couple/family who want to stay in San Francisco and yet, vacation in a less busy area of the City. There is a good amount of free street parking and you are walking distance from 2 recreational areas San Francisco has to offer - Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park. Transportation to downtown is 2 blocks away (N Judah MUNI Metro line). SF Zoo is 5 minutes away by car and the de Young Museum and California Academy of Sciences are 15 minutes by car (15-30 minutes using MUNI Metro). This property is located 20 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.

  • Charming, well-cared for house well stocked with amenities. For our (extended) family group of six adults and two small children (from various locations) it had the perfect blend of coziness and privacy. Owners were available and helpful. Location was in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, without parking hassles but available to downtown by public transit, and a very short drive or even walk to the attractions of the city's western sections (i.e., museums, zoo, gorgeous hills with spectacular scenery, local shops and restaurants). Couldn't imagine a better deal for our ten day holiday.

  • Our experience of staying in this house was absolutely wonderful! Spacious, comfortably yet beautifully accommodating, and situated in a friendly, peaceful neighborhood, this was the perfect home away from home for our family of 6. The location is ideal: a very short jaunt to downtown San Francisco by car or within easy walking distance to many eclectic, neighborhood eateries as well as the Pacific Ocean beachfront. We plan on definitely returning to this home again for our next visit to San Francisco. Without question, we highly recommend this vacation rental. As an added plus, all of our communications with the owners were outstanding!

  • Charming is the exact word to describe this house in an old beach town setting. It has all the finishing touches and supplies you could ask for. The neighborhood is quiet and walking distance to many little restaurants, where we talked to the locals and watched surfers. Love the location ... close to downtown SF, but just far enough away to have some "quiet" time. I highly recommend this home to rent for a wonderful stay in San Francisco.
