This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was completely renovated in 2009 with a contemporary beach chic decor. Everything is new and the quality shows.

The gourmet kitchen is decked out with solid slab black granite counter tops, contemporary cherry wood cabinets and tumbled marble back splash. The stainless steel Pro-series appliances are new. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for entertaining. Hand blown glass pendant lights hanging over the counter height kitchen table make for an elegant setting. The living room area contains a new sectional sofa with a full size hide-a-bed. The brand new Samsung LCD HDTV with 5.1 surround sound and DVD player in the living room will keep you entertained after a long day at the beach. The room has a wonderful view of the sound. Sliding glass doors open on to the balcony. You have a great view of the fresh water pond below and the sound beyond. The unit is on the coveted first floor and has covered parking for two cars.

The master bedroom has a new Simmons queen pillow top mattress, 350 thread count sheets, a new LCD HDTV, sliding glass door entry to the balcony and a window with a view of the sound. The spa-like master bath has an oversized Jacuzzi tub. The second bed room has a new Simmons queen plush mattress, TV and on some nights, you can hear the waves from the gulf.

Baywatch is a low density, family friendly complex. It is located on the sound side of the island with a private beach and dock in the calm waters of the Santa Rosa Sound. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the front door to the water’s edge of the Gulf of Mexico. Boaters are welcome. The complex allows boat/trailer parking or feel free to moor your boat in the waters of the sound behind the complex. The community pool is located next to this unit.

Great, casual dining is available on the island. It’s a 10 minute walk to Peg Leg Pete’s, which is one of the most popular spots on the island.

  • This was our first time to use the VRBO website to find a vacation place. We didn't know what to expect but the rental was awesome. It was as beautifully decorated as the pics. Conveniently located to the beach across the street. Owner very kind when we spoke.

  • We had a great vacation and enjoyed this condo very much. A wonderful part of the beach is just across the street and Fort Pickens is right down the road with some fabulous beaches . The condo was nice and quiet and had a nice, long pier to walk down and look around, or fish. I suggest planning to go sit on the pier at sundown... great view! The bay side also has a sandy beach area. The condo itself was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, very clean and met our needs in every way. Everything seems new and top-notch. I would recommend staying here and would like to come back.
