"Charlevoix the Beautiful" is nestled among Lake Michigan, Round Lake, and Lake Charlevoix and offers fabulous shopping, excellent restaurants, and easy access to the outdoor splendor of northern Michigan. Enjoy the local lakes and beaches, the sunsets from the Lake Michigan pier, or take a scenic drive to Mackinaw or Traverse City.
Our condo is located at the Edgewater Inn on Round Lake, directly north of the drawbridge and walking distance to downtown. It is a ground-level unit with a deck overlooking the docks and a view of the drawbridge and downtown Charlevoix in the distance. The Edgewater Inn offers onsite 24-hour property management, free wireless internet, an indoor-outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and its own renowned restaurant/bar - the Edgewater Bistro. The condo is comfortably equipped with a flat-screen TV, linens, daily housekeeping service, and kitchen supplies.
This unit boasts lots of updates completed in 2008-2009 including new wood floors, new furniture, and a full bathroom remodel with porcelain tile and a jetted bathtub with shower.

Why the Owner Chose Charlevoix
Like many other Michiganders, I too made the frequent pilgrimage "up north" on the weekends. Charlevoix was always my favorite spot- surrounded by lakes big and small, a great collection of intimate restaurants, fabulous summer festivals, and all with a small-town feel. When I decided to buy a vacation/rental property, there was no question that it would be in Charlevoix!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I love the proximity that Charlevoix has to all that northern Michigan has to offer: water sports, island trips, the wineries of northwestern Michigan, golf, biking, need I go on? I start looking forward to dinner at Terry's in downtown Charlevoix months before my visit! Be sure to order the Walleye!

I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Seattle 5 years ago. I still miss many things about Michigan and the mid-west; my friends and family of course, snow, and summers on the lakes. I love coming back to visit a couple times a year and making the trek to Charlevoix.
