Comfortably decorated and furnished, your entry into our mountain retreat will instantly bring a smile to your face.
With the fresh air of the evergreens and other trees cleansing your soul, you will also have the joy of rocking on the porch while looking up at the beautiful hilltop. Don't be surprised if you see a young doe wandering through the yard, a bobcat pouncing on his prey, or a cardinal lighting on the trees as you sip your favorite beverage. These are all things we have had the privilege of experiencing while staying at this magical place.
Don't be fooled, however, by the deceptively secluded location. While you may feel as if you are in the middle of pioneer land, the reality is you are within walking distance of a beautiful non-denominational chapel, and just minutes away from the quaint and lovely downtown of Banner Elk. Go enjoy a show at Lee's McRae College, go antiquing at any of the fine shops nearby, or pick strawberries and blueberries during season, all within a couple minutes drive. This cabin is ideal for all types of vacationers. If you are looking to get away, but not too far away...this is your place.

Hello, my name is Monique and I am co-owner of this cabin with one of my dearest friends, Gina, along with her husband, Russ. Although we live in Florida, we are mountain girls at heart, too, and love to share this rare find with others. I am a business owner, specializing in personal training, wellness, massage therapy, and fat loss. Gina owns the delightful Faith, Hope and Chocolate located in beautiful downtown Vero Beach, Florida We each have 2 children and love the Lord Jesus with all of our heart, mind and soul.
Why the Owner Chose Banner Elk
We chose to buy a house in Banner Elk because we really wanted a home for our children to create memories of picking berries off the bushes, the freedom of the mountains, and the quiet life outside of South Florida. Banner Elk is such a special place, we fell in love with it immediately and truly love our home there.
