Luxury Single Family Home in Vail (Almost Newly Built)
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Intermountain
Vail has 5,000 acres of skiing available, and has the best groomed runs in the nation. We like the services and reliability of Vail Mountain.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Private Hot Tub outside allows you to watch the snow fall while you're soaking in the jetted tub. Being close to the mountain allows for easy access to the slopes, and also to the stores across the highway. Sleeps up to 10 adults. Has two large decks, one for each of the private master suites. This property was recently built. It is designed with hardwood floors (except for the bedrooms), slate tile in the entrance & foyer, and granite counter tops throughout. One of the benefits of staying in West Vail is that you are close to the grocery stores, but also you can take the Cascade ski lift at the Cascade Hotel, and NOT line up. This lift is very underused, since its mainly used by the hotel guests. The Cascade lift is about a 5 minute drive, and can be accessed from the turn-around where the bus stop is.
This is the location for the bus stop shelter that takes you to all the different ski lifts
Owner's Map of Intermountain
Gary and I love to ski, we hope you enjoy the mountains as well. We really enjoy Vail and love the time with our families while in Vail. Our home was designed to allow you to enjoy a relaxing stay in Vail. We have used the highest quality of finishings in building this home. From the Hot Tub to the powder ski conditions, Vail is the best place to stay for a vacation in the mountains.

I stayed here with my daughter and another friend and his children (yes it is very big and roomy with lots of bedrooms including two master bedrooms so it is easy to share with friends ) and we had the best time. In addition to being large and roomy it is made with all the best materials and equipped with every convenience you will need including and probably most importantly an excellent hot tub to unwind in after a hard days skiing. In the past when I have come to Vail I have stayed in a hotel in Vail proper. This is the first time I have stayed in a chalet and I can tell you that I will never be staying in a hotel again. Here are some things you should Know. There is no cheap way to get to vail if you are coming with a group, both buses and limos are stupidly expensive so you might as well rent a car. Now that you have decided to go for a condo or chalet here is why this one is so great. It is in West Vail and two minutes away from the roundabout and the Safeway (with Starbucks) and Freshie market, both key. East Vail is far from any grocery store so where ever you rent you are better off on the West side. If you want to go into Vail there are public lots at Vail, Lions Head and Crystal and it is a quick walk to any of those areas and the ski lifts from any of those parking areas. During the day if you want to run in for a short shopping trip parking is free as long as you don't stay more than two hours. At night if you want to go to dinner it is also free. The only time you need to pay for parking is if you go for the day to ski (I am lazy so I paid) but there is also a free shuttle bus that goes directly to the hills with a stop just steps away from the chalet. West Vail is also better because if you want to go for a less expensive dinner with comparable quality to Vail (well probably better) Avon to the West it is also just minutes away. Similarly if you want to try a day skiing at Beavercreek it is minutes away as well. I would highly recommend this place.. easy access, great beds, well equipped kitchen, fantastic great room with awesome windows overlooking the forest .. great parking..hot tub.. washer dryer.. lots of bathrooms... convenient .. we all had a great time. The owners keep the place immaculate. Loved it.

Our group was made up of seasoned travelers and experienced skiers and this house was a perfect fit. The house is very high-end with all the amenities. If convenience, comfort, and quality accomodations are what you are looking for....this is the place. We liked the house so much, we hardly dined out, because we enjoyed being there in the evening for the hot tub, cocktails, dinner and the entertainment center. Our standards are high and this house exceeded our expectations!
Owner response:We're glad that you enjoyed your trip. Jay and Gary

The property is immaculate and tastefully decorated, virtually new. Beautiful views from the living and kitchen area overlooking Vail Valley. Great location in West Vail that gives you access to both Vail and the towns to the West, great restaurants within 15 minutes to the West and 5 minutes to Vail. Overall a great experience and value. We would definately rent this home again.

I have stayed there a few times, the photos are actually representative of the place; its new, clean and well maintained. Reasonably close to bus line, if required, but easy to drive and find parking at slopes. Great feeling of being in the pines when you are actually pretty close to the road. Scott from AZ
