  We had a group of four adults and five young people, ages 15 to 19. We all had a great time. The property is well-maintained and very much as described. The uncrowded beach is convenient due to the well-maintained boardwalk. The swimming pool is really nice and the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. A couple of our boys rented a kayak from Clay (out towards the state park) and enjoyed an afternoon of snorkeling on the bay side, and some of our group carried one of the kayaks at the house to the beach and went kayaking in the ocean. We all went out to the state park one afternoon and walked a long way enjoying the ocean and the sand dunes. Several of us went to the Cape San Blas lighthouse and enjoyed the view from the top. We cooked most meals at the house but did enjoy a nice lunch at Red Pirate Family Grill in Eastpoint one day and ate dinner at Killer Seafood in Mexico Beach another day. Both meals were really good. Since we had a large group to feed, we did take a crockpot, an extra large skillet and a couple of baking dishes from home to use. The owner was quick to respond to my questions and I would recomment this property to everyone.

  My family recently rented and stayed in this well kept home. The property is well kept, and furnished and quite comfortable for a family of four. I can easily see this being the story for the listed number of people as well. We appreciated the privilege of being able to have our dogs with us, and hope those who follow do their part in keeping this the case. The area is great. Enough out of the way to be clear of the college sceen, makes it the perfect family destination. Should you like to fish, or have children that do, do not hesitate fishing off the beaches, there are many species to catch and eat, or release. the oysters are fantastic. We prefer Boss Oyster in Apalachicola, a short drive.The park on the cape is great, we spent two days there, where the kids snorkeled the cove finding stingrays, sea horses starfish, fish and all manner of sea of life. THe fee is $6 per day and very worth it. The pool in the association is well kept and clean. Very peaceful. The walk to the beach is minimal the beach walking outstanding.

  I was here 2 years ago with my daughter, niece and dog, Olive. Now I'm back as a RETIRED teacher with my husband and dog Olive, who is now 11 and unfortunately isn't as frisky on the beach as she was 2 years ago, but enjoying it just the same. I walked in and felt like home. Bonnie, you have done some wonderful improvements; new couches, porch cushions, work on bathrooms, etc. Unfortunately we can only stay a couple of nights, but have pretty much decided this as our snowbird destination for 2013, so don't anyone else book!! Love it here. Can hear the ocean from the screen porch; windows open and don't need the air.

  My wife and I rented the house for several nights over new years eve, and brought our dog as well. This was a great place - it has a great balcony and we loved how open the layout of the house is. It is only a two-minute walk to the boardwalk, and a stretch of beach that was quiet and pristine. Cape San Blas is a beautiful area and a relaxing get-away, and the most pet friendly beach I've ever been to. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to make this an annual destination.

  We stayed here in late March/early April of 2010. The house is wonderful; nicely decorated, clean, and has everything you need. I could live on the front screen porch. It is literally a 2-3 minute walk to the beach boardwalk where the beach is wide and uncrowded. I am a schoolteacher and collected a whole ice cream bucket of shells to bring back to my 5th graders in northern Wisconsin. Probably the highlight of my stay however, was being able to bring my beloved Olive, (dog) with and despite being 10+ years old, watching her absolutely frolik and jump on the beach. It was wonderful. Highly recommended.

  My family spent a wonderful week at this beach house recently, A nice house well maintained, very clean and comfortable beds, has great out door porches and a outdoor shower, great kitchen for cooking. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing beach vacation.
