good property, bad management company

We booked the property last winter, and a couple of months prior to our arrival we noticed the listing said summer special - one night free. So we called the mgt company to ask if we could get a free night and they refused. Property is beautiful, but originally the listing stated 5.5 baths. So when we arrived, we realized there was a bathroom missing. We called the management company to tell them the discrepancy and to see how they might compensate us for our inconvenience (we had to move rooms to try to accommodate the different couples) and they never got back to us about it. Also, when we arrived there were only 3 drinking glasses - there were eleven of us. Though the mgt company did bring some glasses that day, there were still never enough for our group, definitely not the amount one would expect. Also the freezer stopped working and the washing machine began to give out. If the management company can get their act together, fine, but if not, we recommend proceeding with caution.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
