The beach front house has four (4) bedrooms and one bathroom. If you need additional room or if you're looking for something smaller, you can also rent the 2-bedroom apartment over the garage on the street side of the property (from $900/week).
The beach and ocean are just steps from your front door, very convenient especially if you have children. Swimming is great here, and the beach is a nice place to take a walk and do some beachcombing. Watch the surfers from your front deck or go surfing yourself. Manasquan is noted for some good waves. Don't forget the beach chairs to relax in during the day and to watch the fireworks every Thursday night right from your front yard.
It's a short walk to Gee Gee's Arcade, great local eateries, and live music. If you tire of the surf and sand, downtown is a short distance away where you can shop or take time to grab a bite to eat.
Other local amusements include a short drive to Point Pleasant boardwalk, Belmar fishing and marina, Spring Lake shopping, antiquing in Point Pleasant or Red Bank, 25 miles to Great Adventure, 30 minutes to Monmouth Racetrack, one hour to Atlantic City.
Commuter train to/from New York City, makes for a quick getaway. A nice bike trail takes you to Allaire State Park.
June, September and October are truly nice times - a bit quieter -and a beautiful and peaceful time to enjoy the beach and surrounding area, so don't rule these months out.
