  We so enjoyed our amazing stay in Dick and George's condo. The location is incredible-sitting on the lanai each day, watching the ocean, was so relaxing. Yes, people do pass by, but usually our only interaction was a friendly hello or their comments about what a great spot we were in (and we would always agree!). We really appreciated the 2 lounge chairs! The remodeled kitchen is beautiful and was great as we cooked most meals. Finding a condo in Napili with an air conditioner was important to us and it worked great to cool the unit. The shower was great-I want that showerhead! Wifi worked great, even on the lanai. There were several beach chairs and we took those down to the beach to watch the sunset, turtles, babies and dogs each night. The bed was comfortable-we both slept better than in years. There were grills very nearby that we used daily. Parking was very easy and plentiful. The swimming pools and grounds were really well maintained. The most incredible thing was snorkeling in the small cove down the sidewalk to the left. We snorkeled every morning there with 10+ sea turtles (too many to really keep count!). One of the most amazing experiences we'll ever have and we hope to return. We tried snorkeling other places, but really this was better and so convenient. The path to Napili Bay was easy and where could you find a better beach? We also walked over to snorkel at Kapalua one morning and that was fun. We wanted a beautiful location to relax in and that is what we found here. We hope to return one day and since we saw a morning rainbow our first day and one over the mountains our last night, Dick assured me that means we will return. Dick and George were great to work with and even left a gift basket of goodies which was very appreciated. A wonderful place to celebrate our 35th anniversary and a trip we will never forget!

  First, the location: Just sit on the lanai and you will see whales in front of you much of the year; and sometimes you can see dolphins and turtles. There is a gorgeous view of Molokai across the water. Birds come to visit. Cross the path and there are interesting tide pools. Walk down the path a few yards, and there is a cove with sea turtles living in it. Snorkeling is a short walk or drive away. The condo: It has been beautifully done with a granite kitchen counter, new stove sink, microwave, and large refrigerator. There is plenty of cooking equipment and barbeque grills are close by.The living room is welcoming and relaxing.The bedroom is comfortable and can be closed off without losing airflow. You don't usually need air conditioning because of the louvered windows, but an air conditioner is there if you need it.The shower is large with good pressure.Beach mats, boogie boards and other gear are provided.The washer/dryer works well. The management keeps up on repairs without bothering tenants. And when you come back from snorkeling or other activities, there are no cleaning folks coming in at exactly the wrong time. The owners gave us a beautiful gift basket, so we didn't have to buy coffee or even chocolate macadamia treats to bring home to friends! There was also a beautiful flower arrangement to greet us upon arrival. The sunlight comes in just right, not too hot like another condo there. We have been returning to this place for many years. It is perfect for relaxing or for taking off for activities in north or south Maui. Our secret piece of paradise.

  We loved our stay at Napili Point. We have never stayed so close to the water which was a wonderful treat. The snorkeling at the cove was wonderful. Loved swimming with the turtles. We actually took a private snorkeling excursion but liked the snorkeling at Napili cove much better so save yourself some money and time. Go to Snorkel Bob's and rent your gear. The waves were hugh the first few days which brought in some local surfers . . . so much fun to watch! The unit was very clean and nicely appointed and the bed extremely comfortable. This was our first trip to Maui and we feel we picked the right unit to stay. We loved walking to Sea House for breakfast and happy hour. Maui Tacos had the best fish tacos and very inexpensive. Road to Hana is a must. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here!

  This condo is everything that is shown on the detail information. Well appointed, very clean, and beautiful views. We have stayed 3 times, and have signed up for next year. So, do I need to say more?

  This was our 4th year at Napili A2 and we have booked again for next year. We call it "our" condo. It feels like home. We are so comfortable - the condo has everything we need and want. The decor is classy and tasteful. The view is beyond perfect. Each time we go, we get lazier and lazier. We hate to leave this little bit of paradise. After a day's outing we find ourselves rushing home to catch the sunset from our lanai. We have our favorite trips around the island and revisit those each time. There are many great restaurants very close by. We love the Farmer's Market, the Fish Market, and just discovered Okazuya take out. Since we are there for two weeks, we are having fun fixing our own meals. Coincidently, the last few years we have had friends staying on Maui at the same time. We have had several dinner parties - A2 is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset, sip wine, and dine with friends. Dick and George are a pleasure to work with - so friendly and professional. They are attentive and take good care of us. Thank you so much for sharing your special place.

  George and Dick: We were so very pleased that we chose to stay at your lovely condominium at Napili Point! We discovered that we could swim with sea turtles and do the best snorkeling on Maui right by walking 50 - 100 yards from the condo in any direction! Exploring the tidal pools directly in front of the unit kept me fascinated for hours. The unit was beautifully decorated and equipped, and the Napili Point development was quiet and peaceful, with so many wonderful trees, flowers, bushes, and birds!! We fell asleep to the sound of the We were off the main highway, but very close to the grocery store and easy access to the main road. We felt very lucky to have chosen your condo for our first trip to Maui, we thank you for sharing your home, and we hope to return soon.

  If I could rate this property 6 stars I would. The new kitchen remodel was a total surprise, really high end and beautiful. But we only used the fridge because who would want to cook indoors when the BBQ is almost on the ocean! WOW. The condo is very clean and has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable too. Most of all, the location was perfect with views of the ocean and Hawaiian Islands. Also the beach is terrific, probably one of the best on Maui and still not over crowded. The restaurant and the end of the beach "Sea House" served the best Mahi-mahi sandwich I have ever had! The really amazing surprise for us was the snorkeling. Just feet from the condo is a sheltered bay perfect for snorkeling. There were so many fish and coral, but you quickly forget about that when you see the biggest turtles you could imagine surfacing right next to you. It’s quite startling to have these graceful creatures swim right up to you, but I think they are just as interested in us as we are in them. In the evenings we would get a cool glass of sauvignon-blanc and watch the sunset while we fired up the BBQ. This is a great way to meet some really wonderful people that are also enjoying paradise at Napili Point. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you George and Dick for all the help and advice.

  We've stayed in this condo many times. Started with the prior owners and still going there. It has just gotten better and better. It's been totally remodeled and everything is top-notch. It really has everything you need from kitchen stuff to beach stuff. It is so close to the water you can hit it with a rock and the sound of the surf puts you to sleep every night. The sunsets are phenomenal. Although the unit does have air conditioning, we have never used it. We just sleep with the windows open. There is a walkway in front of the unit but it has never presented any problems. People are friendly but not intrusive. There is a great coastal walk just up the way and lots of places to eat although we seem to never want to leave the condo and BBQ almost every night. We just love it and are going back in a few months. Can't wait.

  Spectacular oceanfront location - steps away from the surf at Napili Point - unobstructed views of both Molokai & Lanai - rainbows along with the morning showers! Great snorkeling (with numerous turtles) in Honokeana Bay just steps to the left of the lanai and a wonderful sand beach on Napali Bay just a short walk to the right. Newly remodeled kitchen with all new appliances. A couple of cautions though - "private" is not a word I would use to describe this unit as everyone in the entire complex who walks to the beach passes two feet in front of your lanai (great for making new friends though). The single bedroom window also opens up about five feet from the walkway just about forcing closed drapes and air conditioning. The unit is also very small (about 500 sq. ft.) - the mirrored walls in the living and bedroom result in the unit appearing larger than it actually is - this unit would be crowded for more that a couple.

  Owner response: The interior of Unit A-2 is the same size as most ground-level one-bedroom units all of which advertise sleeping for four guests. It is very typical in size for one-bedroom condos at resorts up and down the Maui Coast. Groups of 4 adults and families with two children all report finding the condo very comfortable. The reviewer inaccurately writes that everyone who uses the beach walks in front of the condo. People do walk by the condo on a regular basis to access the beach at Napili Shores Resort. However, there is more than one access point. As described by the reviewer, there is an unimproved pathway to the right of our condo that some residents of Napili Point Resort use, but there is also convenient access through a gate off the parking lot. The gate provides much easier/closer access for anyone staying in the east half of Napili Point Resort and for those who are carrying beach chairs, coolers, towels, etc. Admittedly, there are people walking in front of the condo, but this is the trade off for having an unobstructed view. Any unit that is not on the ground floor is required to have a four-foot protective glass/plastic barrier and/or railing. When you are relaxing on a chaise lounge, the plastic or glass barrier, which can quickly become cloudy because of the salt air, becomes a significant obstruction to the beautiful view. Our ground-floor condo truly has unobstructed views. Most passersby offer a nod or a polite Aloha. Few if any ever stop to talk unless invited. The reviewer inaccurately describes the positioning of the bedroom window. It has the same level of privacy as other ground-floor units in the resort. The sidewalk is separated from the window by 10 feet of lawn, a row of bushes and 5 feet of gravel. Therefore, the distance to and the view into the bedroom from the walkway is not nearly as accessible as the review implies. Opening the louvers on the windows is a viable option for most of our guests; again, it depends on preference. We have never used the air conditioning. Other guests, with different sleeping preferences do use it. We are glad that we can provide the option. We do have mirrored walls in the living room and bedroom. They make the condo look bigger but also reflect beautiful images of the ocean. While we respect the reviewer’s right to rate our condo according to he/she preferences, we object to giving exaggerated and misleading impressions. We urge you to read all the other five-star reviews on this website.
