Absolutely everything you could want in Paradise. No need to go anywhere else because everything that is quintessentially Hawaii is right here: sea turtle cove, snorkeling/ swimming beach, whale watching, tide pool viewing, surf action, the sounds of the ocean, breathtaking sunsets, oceanside dining, even a food truck with Aloha plates and lobster! If the slogan is "Maui No Ka Oi" then A-2 is the best of that.

The listing description and photos were accurate and the property was very clean and well maintained. The newly remodelled kitchen was beautiful. The owners were extremely helpful and we would highly recommend this as a place to stay. We were blessed to be able to stay here for our first, family trip to Maui!! We absolutely loved it. The location was superb. The condo was superb. We are already talking about when we will return. There is not a doubt that we will be returning to this exact spot!! Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise. We hired a nanny from The Nanny Connection (excellent nanny) and booked a hike through Hike Maui (excellent service) and found Okazuya take out restaurant (excellent food). Also, WHaler's Village (nearby) has excellent shopping.

We just signed on for two weeks next year, our fourth year in A2. Everything about it is perfect. The view is spectacular - sitting on our own lanai, sipping wine, and watching amazing sunsets over Lanai and Mokokai. The condo is tastefully decorated as one would do in their own home, not the usual rental "decor". The kitchen remodel is state of the art. We had the unexpected pleasure of hosting two dinner parties this year. We had everything we needed, just like home. The owners are exemplary to work with - professional and friendly. We love the Napili location - away from the tourist bustle - and spent a lot of time just enjoying our condo and local environs. No more guilt about not running around the island trying to see and do everything. Saw more turtles and other fish and eels while snorkeling than in previous years, all just a few steps from the condo. Of course, our first day we saw the whales breaching - again right from our lanai. We had a great find this year - Maui Arts and Cultural Center. We experienced a fun and nostalgic evening with Neil Sedaka; sorry we weren't going to be there for Bill Maher. We are all ready to go again next year. Thank you George and Dick for making our vacation so enjoyable.

I only hesitate to write this because we want to return every year and the popularity increase will make it harder to access at our whim! That said, we loved every minute of both our stays. If snorkeling and total relaxation is a must for your vacation this is it. In August we drove the road to Hana (fun and nerve racking!), but a must for the adventurer in you. We also saw the sunrise at Haleakala and rode horseback down into the crater. Another must if you dare! The remaining 5 days we chilled on the lanai at A-2 or snorkeled with the abundant sea life right there in Honokeana Bay. Being both in our very late 50's this is a great mix of adventure and downtime. An enchanting break from the hectic pace of the Bay Area. My stay in December was a girlfriend get away. Once again, you can't go wrong at this beautiful property in the middle of paradise.

Our guest is right, it is a beautiful location and the Kapalua Coastal hike is one of the highlights of the area. Of course we never want to forget snorkeling with the turtles in the bay accessible just a few steps from the condo. There are a number of other excellent restaurants nearby. Two of my favorites are the Pineapple Grill in Kapalua and the Pineapple Plantation, also in Kapalua.

This was a very nice unit right on the ocean. It was a perfect size for the two of us. Snorkeling with turtles in the bay right by the unit was a plus. We could also walk to restaurants (the Sea House was good and a good value). The Kapalua Coastal Hike is lovely. All in all, there was no reason to drive off and do anything else!

I've stayed in this condo at least 4x and each time it gets better. Right before our arrival they had just completely remodeled the kitchen. Everything is new, top of the line, stainless steel refrig, stove, dishwasher, all wood cabinets with some pull-out shelves, granite counter tops, under-counter lighting plus great pots/pan/dishes etc. It is absolutely beautiful. There is also air conditioning although we didn't use it. We had people staying in other units asking for a tour. It's the best unit in the resort and the best location literally right on the water with great views of Molokai and Lanai. The sunsets are breathtaking.
Owner response:We're very happy that Nanette liked our remodeled kitchen. We spent nearly a year designing, preparing and getting the work done. Our goal is to provide a hospitable home-like experience in paradise for our guests.

Dick and George, Aloha! We just wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a fantastic time we had at your beautiful condo. It really is an amazing place and we enjoyed every second there. We had fun snorkeling and seeing many beautiful fish and swimming with the sea turtles. We also made sure we were back every evening for the sunsets from the lanai, they were a highlight. It is a very comfortable condo and it was great having all of the amenities. We hope to make it back there someday and would certainly stay at your condo.
Owner response:Hospitality for our guests is one of our prime concerns. It always pleases us when guests have a great experience. In September, we will completely remodel the kitchen with new granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry, lighting and flooring. The ammenities will be even better. We absolutely loved our time in Maui. The condo was perfect, wonderful view from the lanai to watch the whales, listen to the waves hitting the rocks and listen to the birds. I took countless pictures of the beautiful sunsets from the lanai. It was so relaxing. The condo was fully equipped for cooking as well as beach towels, cooler, boogie boards & beach chairs. The unit was clean and nicely appointed. Dick and George have thought of everything. While we were in Maui we went to the tradition Luau in Lahaina which was great. We took an escorted tour to Hana (next time I would drive it myself) which we really enjoyed but it was an 11 hour day as they drove all the way around the island. We took a whale watching tour which was awesome and a dinner sunset cruise (wouldn't do that again, food was so so and sunsets were more relaxing from the lanai). The snorkling with the sea turtles on the pool side the complex was great. I would definately recomment renting this unit and hope to return again soon.
Owner response:Providing a hospitable and relaxing experience for our guests is a priority for us. We are always pleased when guests have a great experience. To us, it means that all the work we have done on the condo has been worth it.

Fantastic, what a place to stay. My husband and I couldn't have enjoyed our stay in Maui more. The condo at Napili Point was just fabulous, views were glorious. Whale watching was unbelieveable, we were there at just the right time. Close to resturants and water activities in Lahiana, our trip on the ferry to Lani was memorable. The owners gave us great tips on places to eat on the island, Mama's Fish House was a favorite. The sunsets alone are a reason to make a return trip, very romantic. We would recommend a trip to this condo in Maui to anyone that is going to Hawaii. Thanks to the owners for a great vacation.
Owner response:Carol and Tim, thank you for your review. When renting the condo, one of our top priorities is hospitality. We try to keep the condo well equipped for all your needs and we're always happy to help with recommendations for how to enjoy the Island of Maui. Of course, the location of the condo on the western edge of Napili Point just a few yards from the ocean makes the condo an ideal location for whale watching from shore, we're really happy that you enjoyed that...and right from the comfort of the lanai. We're with you on the sunsets...when we're there, every evening at sunset, we like sit on the lanai with a cocktail and watch the sun display its colors. It makes everything you've heard about romantic evenings in Maui come true. It seldom disappoints. Then I go to the grill and fix fish or stakes and we have a lovely dinner under the stars. It's a great place to while away a few days or weeks in peace far from the stress and worry.....and during the winter, far from the cold, rain and snow!

We loved the location - away from the crowded, high-rise, timeshare scene. If it were any closer to the ocean, fish would be swimming on the lanai! Only a few steps to the pool or the inlet full of giant sea-turtles. I swam with one that had a shell the size of a card table! Also loved the view of the sunsetting behind the edge of Molokai. Very well appointed with new furniture and every little goodie you never find when you rent a condo. Thanks for a great vacation.

We had a wonderful time in Maui last April, due in no small part to your wonderful condo. Though we've stayed at other Napili Point units in the past, we think yours is the best, and it is even less! We were happy to escape the daily maid service interruptions, wet floors, and tipping obligations. Your redecorating and remodeling is terrific - plush yet functional, upscale and comfortable! No one can believe the views and location until we show them the pictures. We even had occasion to use the printer/copier to document a recipe for grilling fish on the gas BBQ. We can't wait to return to paradise!

The condo was easy to find because of excellent directions from the owners, and when we arrived we were not disappointed. What a view! A bottle of wine was waiting for us upon arrival. Now that was a nice touch! The owners were helpful concerning all of our questions and concerns and quite prompt in doing so. The condo was exactly as pictured, and was clean and beautifully decorated. There is a pool to use on the property. A short walking distance away is a nice beach and a restaurant is just next door. A short drive brings you to many activities including snorkeling and fishing boats, golf courses, restaurants, and shopping, just to name a few. There is lots of action in Lahaina and many activities are available there. The Maui Ocean Center is further away, but worth the drive. I would recommend this condo to friends and relatives. We were certainly not disappointed!

Wow! This is a fantastic place to stay while on Maui. This place has it all, privacy, gorgeous views, far away from all the crowds, yet close enough to get to the action in Lahaina (about 10 minutes away), if that's what you want. This is an ocean front condo and I mean ocean front...if you were any closer you'd be swimming! You are right there! We sat on the lanai and watched whales breeching, dolphins jumping and giant sea turtles swimming right past us! Unbelieveable! Fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. Comfortable, classy, fully equipped condo with absolutely everything you might need - from boogie boards and beach chairs to washer & dryer and flat screen cable T.V. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with a million dollar view right in front of you. A beautiful golden sand beach and excellent snorkeling are only 150 yards away. While we have been to the islands many times, both my husband and I thought this was probably the best, most relaxing and comfortable trip we have ever had. We will definitely be back for more.

Thank you so much. Our 10-day stay at Napili Point A-2 was most definitely paradise. We have hundreds of photos of magnificent sunsets, surf and surfers, Molokai and Lanai, turtles, dolphins, and whales - all taken from our patio! The accommodations were outstanding - we felt like we were in a real home and had everything we needed; clean, tasteful, comfortable. All of the logistics and transactions were handled simply and professionally. We will be back next year!

George and I just received the following note from guests who vacationed in our condo: Dear Dick and George, We would like to thank you for your part in making our Maui vacation one that we will remember for a lifetime. Your beautiful condo had everything we needed for a fun, comfortable and carefree vacation -- complete with boogie boards, beach chairs and a great bottle of Cabernet S. (thank you!) We also appreciated the new sofa bed, comforter and flat screen TV -- as well as the i-Pod player. You really thought of everything. A heartfelt Mahalo! A & S
