This home has a completely seperate Studio Apartment downstairs which is accessed by an outside staircase only. This can be added as a fourth bedroom for larger groups and for older children responsible enough to sleep down stairs unsupervised.
The gazebo and deck, situated on the east side of the house is very private and offers cooling breezes as well as fabulous views of the surrounding dune vegetation. You can watch the groups of deer come and go on their daily walkabouts.
A small herb garden and Bay tree will complement your seafood suppers which can be prepared on either the gas or the charcoal grill.
Step back in time and enjoy a preserved, natural, coastal dune habitat, complete with a 50 acre globally rare freshwater lake. Private beach access leads to one of the most secluded beach areas in the County. The property is gated and has no through roads.
The beach can not be accessed from the private lot shown in the view directly below the house. The community beach access is just over 1/2 mile by car where there is parking. You can walk down the dune from the home and follow the beach road to the community access (approx 250 yards.) Many guests rent a golf cart locally which makes getting to and from the beach a breeze.
This home is individually owned, but managed by the Resident Caretaker of the Coffeen Nature Preserve & Four Mile Village ,who is an agent for David Walker Realty, Inc. The Resident Caretaker manages Four Mile Village homes exclusively.

- Four Mile Village was a missile test site during World War II. Stay onsite and visit the Caretakers Cottage, the original mess hall for the barracks. View the historical photos from the then Army Air Force. Hike up the launch ramps with the metal rails still intact and explore the concrete bunkers from which these JB2 missiles were lauched off into the Gulf. Enjoy the flora and fauna surrounding Lake Fuller, a unique and globally rare coastal dune lake and rejuvinate in the beautiful peaceful surrounding.

May - October $2300 to $2600 per week.Rented weekly during the summer months.
Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas week $2300 to $2600 per week.
November - February $1500/$1800 w/k March & April $1800/$2000 w/k
$315 n/t Nov - May (4 n/t minimum).
A cleaning fee of $150 to $200 is added to any rental of less than 1 week.
11.5% sales tax added to rental price.
$300 damage deposit (fully refundable within 10 days of departure)

This is a very beautiful, very comfortable home. Lovely furnishings. The living area is very large with a large dining table. Perfect for vacationing families to gather. My favorite part of the house is the gazebo, where you can sit on summer evenings and enjoy the wonderful gulf breezes.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We absolutely adored our stay at this Four Mile Village property. The rental agent was very nice and spoke more than once with us about the interesting history surrounding this area. I feel like the photos of this property do NOT do it justice at all. It is a HUGE, beautiful home with tons of space. The beach is so private and we hardly saw any other people the whole week. There were never more than three groups of people at once on the whole stretch of beach, which is very long. I wouldn't really recommend this for those looking for the party beach vacation. It's very calm and relaxing though and perfect for a couple or family retreat. The water here is VERY calm and crystal clear. I get a little woozy if I stay out in hard waves for very long, but I stayed out in the water for hours on end without a single difficult wave. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.
