We had a wonderful experience at this home! The views were amazing and it was located very close to town. The ready to use appliances in the kitchen made it very easy to make meals and enjoy company. The home had plenty of space to relax and play games while looking right outside at the mountains!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the top of the world. The views are fantastic. Thanks for including the handy spotting scope, we really enjoyed checking out the peaks. The hot tub was a hit. The European decorating touches were enjoyed by our family. We got a kick out of the German shopping list. The huge kitchen was perfect for preparing all of our meals. In fact the kitchen was so convenient we didn't eat out at all. This rental feels like a home, not just a rental property as care has been taken with personal decorations and comfy beds & linens. Carol was fabulous to work with, she is very accommodating. I feel as if I made a new friend.

I am sitting on the deck of this beautiful home looking across the sun setting on the mountains. We have been traveling for 2 weeks and this is our 5th stop and favorite so far. The setting and location are close to the park and Estes park as well. Very well stocked with anything you could need. Very happy and would recommend to a friend.

What an amazing place to spend some time near Estes Park! Have stayed in Estes a few times now in different cabins and fancied a change of view but nothing could prepare you for what was in store for you when opening the door of this house. Absolutely first class accomodation, immaculate, and everything you could wish for is on hand. Open the blinds and the view is stunning, then go outside and onto the upstairs decking to take it all in, who needs an "indoors" when you have recliners and seats to sit and take it all in? Breakfast and a BBQ in the evenings on the top deck with a glass of wine, Perfect!! We can,t thank the owners enough for letting us sample this wonderful place, give yourselves a treat book it!! Its impossible to be Grumpy when you stay here, well maybe for a short while when you have to leave, but hopefully we will be returning soon!
Owner response:Thank you for your kind review. We welcome you to return again and again and hope your next visit is just as enjoyable.

The house had ample room for a family of five, was clean and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen. The view was stunning and the deck was always peaceful. My boys made good use of the hot tub after long hikes. Estes Park was a five minute drive and RMNP about 15 minutes. An excellent value!

A wonderful and beautiful house to stay in. Minutes away from Estes Park in a very quiet neighborhood. The best part by far, was the amazing deck which overlooked Estes Park and beautiful mountains. Highly recommended!!

This is our second year in a row to stay at the mountain top home. Our family loves the views and our kids enjoy exploring the back yard filled with rocks to climb on. The house have every amenity you can imagine to make your stay just like being at home. If you enjoy fly fishing I would highly recommend Scot's Sporting Goods in Estes Park. Our guide John was amazing. We will definitely be coming back again.
Owner response:Thank you for again choosing 130 Alpine Drive for your Estes Park home.. We appreciate your return visit and look forward to your next visit so we can again make you feel at "home away from home". We have a few upgrades planned for the home this fall so it will be even better next year. Thanks again.

We just returned from another fabulous trip to (y)our beautiful mountain hideaway. This time there were four deer beside the house as we drove up, sort of like a welcoming committee. My BFFs and I always look forward to our annual knitfest, girls getaway, and mini-vacation at Estes Park. After a quick stop at the local grocery to get our provisions, we wasted no time getting settled in, mixing up the margaritas, and kicking back to relax. As usual, the house was clean and inviting, and we found everything we needed in the wonderfully stocked kitchen. This time there were four of us, and by using the crow's nest we could all have our own private bedrooms. With the iffy Spring weather we were able to bask in the sun on the deck one afternoon and cozy up to the fireplace on another. We always have a great time at your house, and none of us could imagine staying anywhere else. It feels so secluded and remote, but is so convenient to town. We like to visit the local knit shop, go to that amazing donut shop at least one morning, and of course watch for all the wildlife. We are talking about coming back in the Fall this year because we don't think we can wait another whole year. Thanks again for opening your beautiful house to us. It never disappoints.
Owner response:Thank you Ladies!, You are always welcome and we appreciate your comments. We are in process of making improvements and hope you return for another "BFF gals" outing in the Fall.

We were absolutely overwhelmed by the beautiful mountain views from this home. We are from Colorado and even though we visit Estes Park / Rocky Mountain National Park a few times every year this experience could not be beat! This spacious retreat is in a great location, we immediately felt at home, the amenities were abundant, and we walked out the door and began hiking in the forest right behind us. We explored the Rocky Mountain National Park during the day and visited the cute little shops in town. The owner is so attentive and great to work with. It was honestly one of our best VRBO rentals! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We would highly recommend.

Very comfortable home. Great views, Close to town. Initially were concerned about access off US 36 as it is a mile up a switch back dirt road. Turned out fine. Road was grade 5 which i think is a very high rating, Able to traverse the switchback easiliy in both snow and ice conditions, Roads are plowed by the homeowners association so they were done quickly. No problem getting up and down the mountain if you have all or 4 wheel. The owners were very gracious and called to make sure everything was okay. They were also flexible and wanted to accomodate our special needs. We had multiple numbers to call if we had a problem, Because of access to the Rocky Mountain National Foest, we were able to do some hiking without getting in our cars.

Our stay at the "Top of the World" was wonderfu! This was our first VRBO rental and this house beat our expectations. It was wonderful for a family getaway - spacious house, well stocked, comfortable. Great location where there was privacy but close enough to the center of town for shopping and eating as well as RMNP. While it was a little too cold to hang out on the decks, the views from the living room were spectacular. Definitely recommend. A piece of advice for anyone traveling in the winter time is that the last hill before turning onto the street for the house is a bit steep, highly recommend 4WD vehicle if road is covered in snow or ice.

We would have liked to stay another week at this little bit of heaven on earth. We were torn between relaxing in this "cabin" with it's awesome view of the mountains or to be out hiking in RMNP. We did some of both but not enough of either. We had a great vacation.

We recently stayed at this Estes Park vacation home and had a great time. It had all the conveniences needed, including a wonderful deck with mountain views. It is convenient (approx 2-3 miles) to town, but in a quiet, secluded neighborhood! The house was clean and in good shape, and the owner was very responsive to all of our questions.. And - most importantly - only 20 minutes to the fantastic Rocky Mt. National Park.

Our family loved the house and the immediate area surrounding the house. Both decks allowed us to relax and take in the great views of the mountains including Longs Peak. The house was easily accessible to Estes Park via HWY 36. We would stay here again if we had the chance. Highly recommended.

This vacation rental is beyond expectations! Not only the views are breathtaking, the home is very large, immaculate and comfortable with everything well stocked - all you need is get your own fresh groceries. It's in a very quiet & relaxing location but just minutes from the hustle & bustle of Estes Park & RMNP. It's great for a family retreat or for a family reunion which we had with a sister's wedding in the Stanley Hotel. Some of our relatives gave up their hotel reservations to stay with us as it was preferable to a hotel room. It was like a home away from home and will definitely rent it again in the future.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind review. We are looking forward to your return visit! We also now have an optional service for pre-arrival grocery shopping. We hope that having groceries ready and waiting for you makes your vacation even more enjoyable. I am sure it will be a convenience for our future guests too. Thanks for the great suggestion.

We have stayed at many properties using VRBO, and this house is one of the best. The pictures do not do it justice - the view is amazing. The house is large and very comfortable, with up-to-date decor. It's a short drive to Estes Park. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The owner has been fantastic to work with too. Highly recommended.

We have rented many times before from VRBO's but we have to say that your place was exceptional! Your attention to detail was WONDERFUL. The Beds were very comfortable and I loved the fact that we had plenty of towels, both kitchen and bathroom. The house had all the little necessities you need but really hate to buy for such a short time. (dish and dishwasher detergent, spices, syrup etc.) Also, you had enough dishes and pots and pans and glasses so we didn't have to wash them all the time. Your breakfast nook area was turned into our puzzle corner and that really worked out great for us. I could go on and on about all the little things we loved about our stay, but I'm sure you've heard them before. I think we all agreed that we had the best view for miles around. and that we definitely will have to return again soon

We had a Wonderful Holiday visit with our daughter's and their family. We had plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to relax. The kitchen was well furnished for all our meals. We enjoyed the view, walks in the snow, the hot tub and sauna. Carol is a great hostess - great working with as we made our reservations and called us upon our arrival to be certain all was well. Our entire family loved it here and would like to return one day. Thank you Carol!

Two friends and I stayed recently on a long weekend "chick trip". The view is breathtaking--watching the early morning sun as it gently casts its pinkish glow on Long's Peak is too beautiful for words. One afternoon, three deer ambled onto the property as they grazed contentedly. The beds are wonderful--comfy and warm with down comforters and great mattresses. Although we were there in mid-October, we had great weather. In fact, we sat out on the huge boulders in the back yard, margaritas in hand, and knit on all our little projects. Earlier we took a hike up Pole Hill road, so we definitely earned the margs. It's beautiful, quiet, feels very remote, yet is a very short drive into town. We'll definitely be back and the sooner, the better.

Two words: Simply Amazing! The property owners have kept this house very clean and the ambience is warm with some breath-taking views. We (6 of us) arrived in the evening and were fixated on the large deck - the bright stars in the night were heavenly as were the day views of the mountains. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked, made coffee (they even have a espresso machine) and savored every minute of it. The bedrooms are warm and after a day's hike, sleep beckons easily in this quiet area. The property owners are helpful & know what it takes to manage a vacation rental - a perfect balance of care without being over-bearing. We will be back many more times over the coming years!

Our stay at 130 Alpine Dr. was amazing. The house was very comfortable and a great place for our two families (7 of us) to stay. The views of Longs Peak were very beautiful and we found ourselves waking up early every morning just to look out the windows and watch the sun come up over the mountains. Our first drive up to the house literally left us speechless. The beauty of the mountains and the location of the house were just what we were looking for to start a relaxing week long vacation. We arrived a couple of hours early and were greeted by a warm inviting smile as C.B. welcomed us to the home. The location to Estes Park was just far enough to make us feel like we were secluded from the rest of the world! In the kitchen, there was nothing we didn't have. When making dinner we had every utensil available to us. The beds are very comfortable and the accomodations in general were very pleasing. At any given time, you could always find one of our family members on the deck absorbing the beauty and splendor of the Rocky Mountains. Our only suggestion would be to have a few more channels available on the TV. I would recommend this house to anyone I knew that was visiting Estes Park. Our most exciting moment is when my sister-n-law heard some loud banging in the middle of the night and the next morning we went outside to find that a bear had moved the trash bin 180° and leaned it up against a tree. Our kids were amazed and so excited to see the paw prints! Thanks so much for a great experience.

We spent a wonderfully relaxing week in Estes Park. Your home was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect – not too close to town, but not too far either. We particularly enjoyed the seclusion of the house and the views of Long’s Peak. After a long day of hiking in RMNP, we would come back to the house, settle into the living room, and watch the sun set over the mountains. The instructions in the kitchen binder were very helpful. We also found the restaurant menus, maps, and brochures for local services to be very useful. Thank you for providing such a comfortable home.(note from Owner: the guest alerted us to make sure the cleaning crew was dusting adequately. We have addressed this issue)

Our stay in Estes Park at your beautiful home was a wonderful experience. We were able to check in early and pulled in around 2:45 pm to be welcomed by a doe mule deer eating lunch in the yard next to the entrance door. We knew we picked the right place. The accomodations were perfect for our extended family of 5. Adults were able to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms, while the kids shared a bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and provided adequate seating for dining. The view on the deck was fantastic and we enjoyed using the gas grill with the face of Long's peak in the distance. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful providing a enjoyable break from the hussle and crowds in Estes Park. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
