After many years (25+) is was wonderful to revisit Lake Madrone. Cedar Haven was perfect for the two of us but will easily sleep 6-8 people. Walking around the lake, enjoying the water and watching the kids play like I did when at their age was a great trip back in time to the '50's & '60's. Our last visit was in the early/mid '80's and nearly everything is the same except my family no longer owns their cabin. Cedar Haven is just 4-5 cabins down from the cabin my family stayed at before they built & retired to. Lots of memories and after this visit, we have new memories to share. Thank you Robert for all you offered us and we look forward to another visit.

Guest: Jim & Steve Date of Stay: 07/02/10 Review Submitted: 07/13/10 This was my 4th year to visit Bob at Lake Madrone - the weather was perfect warm days and cool nights - the lake was beautiful and if you are looking for peace, quiet and solitude this is the place for you. We did a lot of hiking and walking in the forest surrounding the lake and saw abundant wild life, among tall pine and redwood trees. The mile hike to Sugar Pine Saloon for breakfast is great. Bob has a couple of canoes to paddle across the lake or just lay on the beach and soak up the sun. There are about 35 families with cottages in this gated community and all are friendly and we made many friends. I will be going back again next year - so better get your reservation in early for Summer 2011.

As a relative, I have stayed here quite a few times. It is very peaceful. No barking dogs or backed up traffic, just the sound of happy kids making thier way to the Lake which is less than 100 yards away. Hi Bob!
