The Kahala Beach Apartments has long been the most luxurious beachfront condominiums on the island of Oahu. Located on beautiful Kahala Beach, along with of some of the most the expensive beachfront homes in the country, and the Kahala Hotel, Hawaii resort of the 'Stars'. This private building was once home to Jack Lord, of Hawaii 5-0.

Our two-Bedroom Suite (sleeps 4-6 people) has been decorated to capture the refined style of tropical Hawaii, yet the comfort of central air conditioning, and offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area for "at home" convenience as well as a washer/dryer. There is one covered parking stall, lots of amenities and access to tennis, golf, hotel restaurants and spa facilities.

Guests can enjoy the beach Bar-B-Que, the building pool and calm beach water. Walk 2 minutes on the beach to the Kahala Hotel for drinks or dining. Drive 5 minutes to the nearby shopping mall for other dining options, like California Pizza Kitchen, Chili's and Starbucks to name a few.

Take in a movie at their multiplex cinema. Easy access to the freeway to get you to famous Haunama Bay within 20 minutes, the airport in 15 minutes and Waikiki beach in 10 minutes.

Why the Owner Chose Kahala

Once you visit this property and location, you will understand. If you want to get away from the crowds, yet be minutes drive to the night life and crowds of Waikiki, this is the place. No Beaches in Hawaii are private, but very little of the public come to this beach. The unit itself is quite and cool. You will feel like your in a tropical luxury cabana, next to the beach.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

We spend almost all of our time on the beach in front of the Kahala Hotel. While it's just next door to our condo, you can get served lunch and refreshments on the beach and even go in and sit at their poolside bars. The water is calm, due to a shallow reef several hundreds yards from the shore, so swimming just off the shore is relaxing cooling. Our guests frequent the dolphin pool at the hotel, to watch the many dolphins that swim freely through the grounds, and do the 'Dolphin Experience' to get up close and personal with them. To stay in the hotel and enjoy these same amenities, you would pay over $400/night for a starting studio suite with a garden view. We have found that our condo is a far better value.

Owner's Map of Kahala

Our family has owned two units in this building for many years. While we may share our time between Newport Beach, CA. and Hawaii, we find that we aren't coming back as much as we would like to. However, we can't get ourselves to part with this little piece of paradise. Each time we go back, we agree that we would miss this get-away destination way too much to sell it. So, we decided to share it with friends and open it up to future new friends. We know that once you stay there, you will see what we mean. We can guaranty with utmost certainty, you will want to come back to this location again and again.
