We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Glenfoyle Guest House. The house was exactly as described, very comfortable with all amenities required. The views were amazing and sitting in the arbor watching the sunsets with a glass of Ruby Blues wine were an added bonus. Breakfasts were simply devine with fresh fruit from the garden and local produce. Janette and Denis were the perfect hosts, they made our stay one of the best Bed andd Breakfast expeiences we have had. We toured the local wineries, enjoyed time by the lake and totally relaxed in this piece of paradise. We also recommend Hillside Estate winery"s Barrell Room Bistro for dinner and a hidden gem is Cafe Nevermatters in Naramata Village. We would highly recommend Glenfoyle Guest House and will make it our destination of choice in the Okanagan. Thank you so much again and we look forward to seeing you next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We do breakfasts by special request only and there is an extra cost, usually people self cater.

An absolutely gorgeous and quiet location with spectacular views. The suite was immaculate, beautifully furnished and had everything one would need. Having a garage to park the car was an unexpected bonus! Janette and Denis were most gracious hosts. We plan to come back to this lovely spot on a regular basis!Did you find this review helpful? Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: Denis and Janette took early retirement from management positions in Social Work and moved from Scotland to Naramata in 2007. We also ran a successful Bed & Breakfast business in Scotland for 12 years. Denis has a part time position in one of Naramata Bench Wineries and is an experienced and enthusiastic fly fisherman. Janette is involved in local community groups and enjoys cooking, crafts and gardening.
Why the Owner Chose Naramata:
We have had many enjoyable vacations in Canada and especially the Okanagan since 1990, and discovered Naramata in 2001. By 2007 we had chosen to make our permanent home here. It is a wonderful community and environment, beautiful, spectacular and with lots to see and do. We would wish to share this with our guests and hope they would appreciate and enjoy it as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The ever changing vistas of Lake Okanagan, the peace and serenity, the friendliness of the local community. The availability of fresh local produce both at farmers markets and local restaurants together with the fine wines from award winning Okanagan Valley wineries, make for a unique gastronomic experience. The local area offers many activities including water sports, but is also perfect for those who wish a quiet relaxing break.
