Why the Owner Chose Naramata
We have had many enjoyable vacations in Canada and especially the Okanagan since 1990, and discovered Naramata in 2001. By 2007 we had chosen to make our permanent home here. It is a wonderful community and environment, beautiful, spectacular and with lots to see and do. We would wish to share this with our guests and hope they would appreciate and enjoy it as much as we do.

The availability of fresh local produce both at farmers markets and local restaurants together with the fine wines from award winning Okanagan Valley wineries, make for a unique gastronomic experience. The local area offers many activities including water sports, but is also perfect for those who wish a quiet relaxing break.

Denis and Janette took early retirement from management positions in Social Work and moved from Scotland to Naramata in 2007. We also ran a successful Bed & Breakfast business in Scotland for 12 years. Denis has a part time position in one of Naramata Bench Wineries and is an experienced and enthusiastic fly fisherman. Janette is involved in local community groups and enjoys cooking, crafts and gardening.
