The four of us (husband, daughter, son-in-law) recently had the privilege of staying in this lovely home owned by Brian and Yma. We also rented the Suburban with the house, along with airport transfers, and highly recommend you do the same. The house is lovely and in a great location, close to everything, with magnificent views of La Paz Bay and the sunsets...it will leave you breathless! We have traveled many times to Mexico and to many different destinations...we almost always rent from owners. This was hands down the best experience we have ever had. Brian was so helpful and easy to deal with from the start. He and his wife, Yma, met us at the airport with the Suburban and made us feel like they were welcoming friends or family...what a nice way to start a vacation. House was immaculate and everything was exactly as pictured...it is equipped with everything you could possibly need and that was a first...in the past, we have always had to buy this or that and leave behind. Bought nothing but groceries and beer on this trip! The maps and info about La Paz and Baja at the house are really helpful as was all the local information gleaned from Brian and Yma. La Paz itself is beautiful, friendly and so relaxing...far away from the maddening "spring breakers" and just what we were looking for. If you are planning a trip to La Paz, and I hope you do, stay here!!!

Just got back from the best vacation I have had in a long time. La Paz is a hidden Treasure for sure. Best Beaches I have ever seen. Great Restaurants, Great People, Best sunsets I have seen are from sitting on the deck of the house. The house itself is Wonderful, It has everything you would need and want, especially Bernie, he's the property manager. Showed us the town the very first day we arrived, so that we could find everything from grocery stores, to the best meat store and even the cow store. Thank-you Bernie for everything, we will be back.( It is a must stay) I must also thank Brian you were great.

Great Relaxing Honeymoon Spot

We were a little skeptical of taking our honeymoon in La Paz due to the fact it's not a hotspot tourist destination, but let me tell you... we made the right decision! The house was wonderful! It had all the bells and whistles, including a free internet phone to call the USA. Bernie the caretaker was awesome! He took us a on a driving tour the first day we were in La Paz and showed us all the good restaurants, bars and grocery stores. He even took us to a butcher and where we got 2 kilos of some of the best filet mignon we’ve ever tasted, for around 10 bucks! The house is also host to one of the best sunsets in La Paz which can be seen from the private pool or the upstairs balcony. I believe this is one of the only rentals in this secured neighborhood. Since everyone else lives there fulltime it’s very quiet. We’ll definitely be back!

Had the time of my life! La Paz was a trip of a life time. The sea of cortez was outlandish! The sea lions and the water life was to die for! Fishing, diving, snorkeling and boating was awesome. The panga boats were fun. The people were great! Beaches were fantastic! You have to use the car to get to them. We have been around the world and nothing compares to La Paz. We wanted to say a few words about Brian's house to anyone intending to rent in La Paz, make full use of Bernie(house manager)! Bernie is the point man and will give you good information on restaurants, shops, taxi's, meat markets and all you need to know about La Paz. He and his wife live here and love it. Pay attention to the money exchange, Bernie will explain in full detail. Pay attention to his tour of the city and take notes. Bernie will do a tour of the house and if there are any concerns, he is a phone call away. We appreciated Brian and Bernie's professionalism and hospitality. They were true to their word. Our security deposit was in our account before we were home, same day. Would we do it again?in a word YES!

Fantastic Home

We had 3 couples stay here for a week in April 2011. The home is very nice and well stocked with items many times not found in a vacation rental. The home was very clean and in excellent condition. Great view of the bay and malecon. The security people were always walking the community, so it is very safe. We enjoyed the pool and the out door tables to have dinner at when we ate in. Bernie the property Manager was waiting for us upon arrival, showed all through the house and explained everything. The next day he took us on a mini tour of town, showing us great places to eat and to shop. Showed us a great meat market to buy Filet's, we bought them twice, price was great meat was really tasty and very tender. Thanks for the tour Bernie!! I would highly recommend this home and hopefully we will stay there again. La Paz is a wonderful city!!

Loved, loved,loved our stay!. 1 week was definately not long enough. The house is perched up on a hill with a fabulous view of the ocean and a short little jaunt down the street to the Malecon. As soon as we arrived, I knew that it was going to be perfect!. Bernie greeted us, showed us around and I was in awe!.He then suggested we get into his vehicle and he showed us around the town,pointing out great restaurants,the Cow grocery store,which has fabulous deals on wine and tequila,I might say and drove us to his favourite butcher shop. A must..steaks to die for and a lobster on the side from the fish shop..quite pricey..they saw us coming!..The restaurants we visited we some of the very best I have ever eaten at..take the suggestions from Bernie..he is truly correct!..make sure you have Brian's Suburban, a great deal and a must to sightsee. Each day,we floated in the pool,enjoyed both decks and it was so nice to have the BBQ for those outstanding steaks. The kitchen was stocked with all condiments. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is perfect for getting ready for the day. Loved having the stereo and the tv for the men to watch their news. We will definately go back!..Miss La Paz already!..Thanks to Brian and Bernie for showing us such a great place and to Brian for sharing his fabulous home with us!..Thanks from the Fosters.Kropinak and Weisner parties..ps..the beds are to die for!

We enjoyed an incredibly relaxing week in this home. The home is very comfortable and the views are world class. Downtown La Paz is minutes away and yet you feel like you are nestled away in your own private retreat. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in this home. It is absolutely tops! Beautifully furnihsed, spacious and comfortable and it has a million dollar view!!! The location makes it easy to walk to the malecon or to the market for groceries. We enjoyed using the kitchen and bbq gril on the terrace. We also appreciated access to wifi and interent telephone service and the opportunity to rent the home wiht the vehicle to use. Bernie the home manager also deserves many thanks for his attentivenesss and freindliness. Thanks for everythinng.

This luxurious house is everything the 6 of us could have wanted for our holiday weekend Nov 2010 - walking distance to water/restaurants/shopping - and the bonus of wonderful views - including sunset. Bernie & Brian were super helpful with everything. Kudos for: soft sheets & towels, comfortable beds & pillows - there is even a blow dryer so no need to pack one. The office w/skype phone and printer makes keeping in touch with loved ones and printing your boarding ticket for the flight home super convenient. I definitely recommend using one of the vehicles Brian offers so you can get to the beaches and to cruise further from the Malceon. We were able to snorkel with whale sharks and sea lions during out stay. We can't wait to go back - we are missing it already.

Our trip was an awesome break from normal life. La Paz is definitely a beautiful and relaxing place. Your house was perfect for our group-I don't think we could have asked for more. We have a vacation rental ourselves up here in WA state near Mt Baker so we have a good idea of what we expect, and your home turned out to be better than we expected. From the cell phone Bernie let us use for the week to the internet phone for long distance calls; from the great outdoor spaces (both terraces) with the refreshing splash pool and awesome ocean/city views; and from the efficient air conditioning units in every room to the well appointed furnishings throughout the home, your house has it all. Bernie was soooooo helpful. What a great person to have managing your home. He was always available and went above and beyond what he needed to do to accommodate us. We also really appreciated your willingness to change around our dates. Thanks so much for being understanding.

Beautiful Home in Charming La Paz

Three of us stayed in this well appointed and well maintained home for a week. The views were incredible and the perfectly maintained pool was a big plus. All the furnishings were comfortable including the outdoor seating areas. Other guests had left sustainable food items that made that first night and next morning pleasant - coffee and plenty of spices and other cooking items. There is ample room for six people to enjoy this home comfortably and with perfect privacy. The office setup was a pleasant surprise with a computer available with internet access as well as a printer and a Skype phone. There is an SUV available at the home for a reasonable rate which was quite convenient as renting a vehicle in Mexico can be a challenge and quite expensive. The owner has an on-site manager who is also quite helpful in terms of acquainting guests with the home and what La Paz has to offer, including where to shop for foods and goods. All in all, this was a great home to stay in while on a diving vacation as it is moments from the center of town and very close to the local dive shops. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting La Paz.

All the amenities of home just a stones throw from the Malecon! Enjoyed the pool, flat screen TV's, the kitchen & BBQ. With three of us, waaaay cheaper than staying in a cramped hotel room! Everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom. Walking distance from all the great restaurants LaPaz. Left the place the way we found it & got all our security deposit back the day the day after we left. This place was amazing the pictures are an understatement. A true hidden gem. Bernie the house manager was amazing and very helpful, take him up on his offer for the tour of the town. He shows you the best places to eat and to shop he even gets you in touch with the best butcher and shrimp man in town. He will answer all of your questions and is at your disposal your entire trip. The house will not dissappoint and is very clean and comfortable. The home has all of the comforts and more. This complex is very safe and secure. I will definately be going back!! Thanks for the awesome memories!!

We just returned from a beautiful long weekend at this property. Everything was great. The house is in a perfect location in a gated community. The rooms were very clean, furniture very nice and spacious. We couldn't have asked for more. They even have bicycles to ride on the malecon (boardwalk) which is only1 block from the house. We will definitely rent this property again!

This was our second vacation in La Paz. Staying in this home was the best!. More than enough room for the six of us. We enjoyed the pool everyday. The view of La Paz and the bay were great inside or outside. Car was perfect. Easy access to the malecon. Looking forward to going back.

We visited this property in March 2010. It has a great location on the north side of La Paz with a view looking over the town and bay. It is very nice inside with great decks and a small pool to cool off in. Walk to town or simply sit on the two decks and watch the city life below.

Wow! The photos are wonderful but still can't capture the beauty of this home. We have been to La Paz many times and stayed several places but this is by far the nicest. Bernie was a gem and all the information he and the book provided was so helpful. The suburban was also appreciated, especially the day we went to the airport, in the rain. Your home really enhanced our La Paz experience. Thanks again.
