You deserve the best! Stay out of the crowded resorts and enjoy our lakefront home.
This home is located on the beautiful TableRock Lake, yet still close to Branson Area attractions. You will be staying near the best fishing spots of Aunts Creek, The White River, and the James River. There are four islands nearby to explore, a rope swing off the cliff, and a ski slalom course. We are located on one of the quieter coves of the lake; but if you like crowds, "The Cliffs" are only a few minutes away. (See the map below.) Our cove is protected from the winds and has a rock/gravel shoreline. There is a boat launch nearby and you may park your boat on the PVC skid or tire skid in the backyard.
The home is listed as one bedroom but also includes a large den with two futon beds. The unit sleeps 4 to 6 people in 3 beds. You are renting the east duplex. The west duplex and garage are reserved for the owner. Our guests love the peaceful location, you will too!
Enjoy the Wildlife, You are on vacation!
The home is nested in the Mark Twain National Forest. Take an evening ride to the top of Pioneer Point to see deer grazing in the neighborhood. But please watch for the Red Foxes that run across the road. The giant Red-Headed Woodpecker is a frequent flyer in the neighborhood and the most majestic sighting is the American Bald Eagle soaring high above the cliffs. In the spring you will find about fifty geese nesting on Goose Island, it's quite a hoot watching them perform their mating dance.
BRANSON - Many of our guests enjoy the Broadway quality shows in Branson. The shows feature all types of music from the 50's to the 90's. My personal favorite is the Legends of Liverpool (aka, the Beatles). Other first-class attractions: Bass Pro Stores at the Branson Landing, Magic Shows, the Titanic, Noahs Ark, Branson Bell Riverboat cruise and more. Branson is only 18 miles via one of the most scenic routes in the Ozark Mountains. This route will take you past Silver Dollar City (a themed amusement park) and The Shepherd of the Hills Tower. After a busy day in Branson, you will enjoy retreating back to your peaceful lake home.

Map & Owner's Profile

Why the Owner Chose Kimberling City
Our friends invited us to Branson, MO to go water skiing on Tablerock Lake in 1996. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and the Ozark Mountains so much that we purchased this lakefront property. We searched for a location that was away from the crowded resort areas. We even rented a boat and cruised the lake to find the smoothest water for skiing. When we found this property surrounded by the National Forest, calm waters, islands, cliffs, and great fishing, we knew it was the one!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We enjoy boating to the nearby islands for a swim or hotdog roast. If you feel lazy, you can boat to one of the restaurants on the lake (my kids favorite is the Pizza Hut). We also enjoy the ski slalom course and the ice cream at the marina. Surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest, this home is located directly on the lake yet still close to Branson Area attractions. If you go to Branson, you will enjoy the peaceful retreat to the beautiful lake and serene Ozark Mountains. There is a boat launch nearby with a swimming area. You can park your boat on the shore behind the house and have a campfire in the backyard.
Goose Island is a popular place to swim and picnic. The shoreline has smoother water-polished pebbles. Please do not leave trash on the island.
Scenic view of Lake and Goose Island. Popular place to launch boat & swim. There are no boundary buoys & no lifeguards on-duty; swim at your own risk.
Rope Swing and Cliff Diving. Popular hangout for boating families. Enjoy the cool shade of the cliff on a hot afternoon! Watch for the Eagles soaring overhead.
Ski Slalom Course & Hideaway Island. The kids can swim off the Island and watch the skiers. If you see a skier with a white cap, that's me. If you see a wakeboarder in the air, that's my son.
A convenient place to gas up the boat. Re-stock your cooler with drinks, snacks, and worms!
Wal-Mart SuperCenter on Old Hwy-13. Restaurants and fast food found on Hwy 13 & Hwy 76 intersections.

This is a photo of me and my wife hiking in Colorado. Vacations are important to our family. When we get away, we like comfortable accommodations in nice places. For many years we stayed in timeshares, but have discovered that we can stay in nice homes for the same or less money. Now we are offering our favorite vacation home for your enjoyment.

This home was everthing advertised. We especially enjoyed the privacy. This home is neat, clean, and very well maintained. The amenities were very nice including a washer, dryer and dishwasher. This home is on a very quite and peaceful part of the lake with a marina, boat ramp, and many tourist attractions just a short distance away. I highly recommend this property.
Owner response:Awesome! We have to agree with you. We found this property by touring the lake by boat, searching for a location that was peaceful by land and sea yet close to the tourist attratctions. You don't realize how noisy our cities are until you get away and experience the relaxing sounds and sites of nature. My personal favorites are watching the deer and seeing billions of stars at night from the rowboat. In two years, I have not seen any guests leave distappointed. Thank you for staying with us!

What a fantastic home! We loved the privacy we enjoyed at this property and the easy access to the lake. We left our 18' boat on the PVC set up the entire week. It worked fantastic. We spent most of our week on the water and appreciated the location of this home on the lake. It is at the end of a calm channel, around the bend from a gas dock, and near to the popular "Cliffs." The maps of the lake provided at the cabin were especially helpful. Thank you for providing such a fantastic location for us to enjoy our vacation.

We really enjoyed this place and made full use of the appliances and the grill. Thank you for keeping such a nice QUIET place.
