As we have in past years, we headed to this amazing property for our Family Holiday week. As usual, the house was decked with boughs of holly and more! Tree, lit reindeer outside and all manners of festive decoration made this already amazingly appointed home, seem not at all like a vacation rental, but more like going and staying with your (well-off) relatives. This home is not typical in any way, but it appointed like a model home. With all the appliances, entertainment devices and comforts of a a home you would want to move into if you could. Dealing with the home's owner is actually more like talking to an old friend, who so loves to share their beautiful home with others who appreciate it. We have rented over 20 different properties in Cambria, and there is no doubt that this is one of the best rental properties in town...and in fact, most towns! If you want to spend some time near the beach, the park, the ranch, and the wonderful town of Cambria, look no further than this wonderful and well maintained and equipped home away from home.

Cambria to my family is a truly special place, and for the special occasion of mine daughter's wedding we wanted to lease a house instead of a hotel. We planned on having approx. 10 guests and thought it would be great to have us all stay together. Donna answer all of my questions and made us feel very welcomed in her lovely home. When we arrived at the house it exceeded all our expectations. What a beautiful home! The views from the balcony were amazing, the walk to the beach was a stones throw and all amenities were top notch. Thank you Donna for helping make our daughter's wedding everything that she wished for.

Ten of us women gather at some destination each year. A few of us have known each other since kdg. This year I suggested Cambria as it is the favorite destination for me and my husband. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was fully supplied with anything we needed. The sleeping arrangements worked out great for the ten of us. I hope to have them return next year! GREAT HOUSE IN CAMBRIA!

Our bike group had a wonderful stay at this spacious home. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Everyone raved about the comfortable beds and linens. The house was absolutely spotless! We had a fun time preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen. The proximity to Shamel Park was a big plus. Donna, the owner, was always prompt in returning my emails. She was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great six day stay in Cambria. It was a wonderful atmosphere to reunite the whole family (four of us from Houston & four from Los Angeles). The house was beautifully furnished (as described by the listing) with all the amenities for us to eat sleep and play in luxurious comfort. We enjoyed all the nearby hiking trails, viewing the elephant seals and other sea life, Hearst Castle, and touring all the quaint local shops. Donna is a most accomodating owner who really cares about the quality of your stay. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives.

A family wedding prompted a stay in beautiful Cambria, checked with hotel offerings, Memorial Weekend, eight adult family members traveling together, ran to the VRBO website, saw the 304 Bristol Executive Vacation Home Rental, emailed Donna Proctor, we were on our way to a wonderful week of California Coastal luxury, fun, family time, gourmet meals prepared in fully stocked kitchen, views from every room, quality furnishings, all the extras that make for an exceptional vacation stay. Thanks to Donna, the gracious hostess, ALL was exactly as pictured/ described in the rental description. Anyone desiring an over-the-top experience with a Cambria stay will contact this property. Our party of nine stayed the weekend in this wonderful home! It had everything advertised and was extremely well appointed! The beds were comfy, the view was beautiful...we loved it! Upon our return home, Donna was prompt in communicating and I received my deposit back by the weekend following our vacation! It really was spectacular. Thank you Donna!

A bunch of us who went on an education abroad program visited for about 4 days at this house. IT was fabulous. Everything was just perfect. The view from the balcony to the ocean was fabulous and we ate lunch out there every day. There are basically two areas that can serve as living rooms. This means that "the girls" (or adults) can chat and "the boys" ( or children) can watch sports or play at the same time. There are big TVs in almost every space. There are two master bedrooms: one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped. This place is perfect for family or friend reunions. It is waling distance to the beach; Cambria is lonly minutes away, as is San Simeon (with the elephant seals) and Hearts Csatle. Do not miss lunch at the Sabastian Store near Heasrt Castle. Paso Robles and the wineries is only 35 minutes up the hill. But the real plus is the house and all that is provided. I would go there again and again. IT was comfortable (the beds are terrific). They have wifi, cable etc. Donna thinks of everything. Do not hesitate. This place is a winner.

For the second year, we spent Christmas at this beautiful home which the owner has decorated for the holidays. Not only does this home have everything you can possibly imagine needing, top flight appliances and furnishings, it exudes the warmth of a home that is much more like the dream home you have always wanted at the beach more than a vacation rental. We have been coming to Cambria for over 20 years and have always rented homes for our family get aways. This is the sort of home where vacation memories are made are not forgotten. In addition to the beauty and comfort of this home, the thoughtfulness of how it is equipped is matched only by the professionalism in dealing with the owner who is accommodating and generous with her lovely home. From the luxury soaps, bath gels, and full equipped kitchen including incredibly luxe coffee makers, toaster, dishwasher and every utensil you could possibly imagine to the washer and dryer that make you want to bring too few clothes just so you can do your laundry here, this house has it all and more. It is a tribute to how the owner respects her guests and wants them to enjoy her home as much as she obviously does. You can not go wrong renting this home, but be careful, you will never want to leave.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. First, Donna takes care of everything and no detail is left unattended. The home exceeded expectations at every turn. It is so comfortable (all beds) for 4 adult couples and is fully stocked with everything you need. The home is ideally located with ocean views out many windows. Additionally, within a few blocks are spectacular walking paths (boardwalks) that stretch along the ocean bluffs and beach for miles. The neighborhood offers exclusivity and serenity, but is close to everything in Cambria and in a great location for day trips to wine tasting, Morro Bay, San Simeon, and more. Morning walks/runs were amazing (breathtaking really) and quick trips to town, simple. We had a spectacular 4 days and look forward to returning!

Our extended family met up at the house and found it exactly as advertised, comfortable and spacious, clean and well equipped. Every convenience was provided, even including a changing table. The beds were all comfy--something rare in our previous experience. The kitchen was decently equipped, and spacious, and there is a big living room and another family room both with big screen TV's--so the football watchers and food show enthusiasts could both have their way. The beach is a block away, so no ocean view (can't be "perfect" after all!), but walking to it takes about a minute, and in general strolling beach and boardwalk in the area is marvelous, we spent long hours outside in the good weather. The beaches are simply gorgeous, and not over-crowded at all. October is a fantastic time to come--sunny and warm, and Cambria has a cute scarecrow festival, entertaining us on every street corner. We couldn't have been happier. We were close enough to town, with good restaurants to visit (hint: the cheese counter at Indigo Moon has a great selection to purchase), although I wouldn't count on the one local grocery for more than the basics, it's very uninspiring in it's size & selection. Hearst Castle was a few minutes away, we took the evening tour which was absolutely magical; and side trips to Paso Robles and Morro Bay, plus too many great wineries to visit all we wanted to get to, enhanced our time there. Guess we'll have to come back! I'm a "foodie" so have to tell you, don't miss eating at Il Cortile in Paso Robles, a meal worthy of a much bigger city, especially in truffle season. Closer to home, we had great local Morro Bay oysters at The Sea Chest on Moonstone beach--better than the ones we got in Morro Bay itself. Just expect a wait. Donna, who owns the home, is a gracious hostess, responsive, organized, and very accommodating to our needs. The house and area are the perfect spot for a Bay Area/LA family to 'meet in the middle' and relax.

There were eight of us (4 from Nebraska and 4 from Southern Cal). We had a fantastic time in Cambria all thanks to Donna's beautiful home. OMG! The house is amazing, the beds were wonderful, the house was clean and fully equipped. We had a wonderful time walking along the beach (which is a very short distance from the house). We felt like we were at home, cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen, playing games late into the evening and just enjoying the weather. The location couldn't have been better, close to the beach, sightseeing and of course shopping!. We look forward to staying again. Thanks, Donna, for your hospitality.

Our family travelled from near and far to meet for a few days in Cambria, one of our favorite places in the USA! Again we booked Donna's home, and again we had a great time. The home is so well equipped and comfortable. We enjoy meeting together to eat meals and to gather in the large living room and on the deck. It is so easy to get to the beach from the house, to walk to the Moonstone Beach boardwalk and to town. The weather was beautiful. We shall return, Donna! We shall return!

We have rented in Cambria many times, and we truly enjoyed our stay in the Proctor home. Six of us (myself, my husband, my mother-in-law, my two kids, and a family friend) stayed the week of Thanksgiving 2008. The two living rooms provided the kids with their own space and they went crazy over the Wii! What a surprise that was! The house has everything you'll ever need for a luxurious and comfortable stay, and it is even set up for WiFi, which was a huge plus. Every bed is so comfortable! Better than the finest hotel! And being so close to the park, my kids walked down on their own, bogged with their baseball gear, and involved themselves in pick-up games with other kids almost every day. and I cannot go on enough about the town of Cambria. If you've never been, give it a try, and consider this home when you're looking for a house rather than a hotel/motel.

We recently spent a week at the Proctors' house with several family members. The home is spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable--more than we imagined. Donna has anticipated every need and provided for such. The two living rooms with TVs made it easy to spread out and relax, and the view is lovely. The location makes it easy to walk on the beach or to shop in town.

We had a group of ten stay in this beautiful house and couldn't have had a better time. It is perfectly located and we did SO many things. We went to the beach in Avila, ate dinner in Morro Bay and Templeton, enjoyed Hearst Castle, shopped and ate in Cambria, and went to the Mid-state Fair in Paso Robles. In between it all, we relaxed and reconnected at the Cambria house. We like to call it "The Mansion"! Thanks to the Proctors for opening up their home and giving us the opportunity to enjoy it.

Donna, Just wanted to say thank you for opening up your home to us. We had a fabulous time and everyone was impressed with your home. Your kitchen had everything a person could want or need and great for entertaining. The bedrooms were all spacious. The location was perfect. We walked down to the beach at least twice a day, and could hear the waves crashing on the shore at night. Although we were attending a wine event in Paso Robles, we preferred staying in Cambria instead due to having beach access and the great restaurants. Thank you again!

Yes! This house is big and wonderful. And Yes! The location is great. And Yes! The owner is helpful, cooperative, and all-around terrific! But let me tell you about the attributes that attracted us to this house. We are four senior couples. We play bridge. We need a house with four comfortable king or queen bedrooms -- no bunks, no double beds, no sofa beds -- and at least three bathrooms so there's privacy and no waiting in line. And we need enough space so that we're not constantly running into each other, because we're in the house all the time playing bridge. This is a rare home that was perfect for us in all respects!!!

I invited my girlfriends to join me in celebrating my birthday. We had a full house but never felt crowded in any way. I don't like to "rough it" when I go on vacation and staying in this home is totally "first class" all the way. We wanted for nothing. Donna provides so many things that you truly feel like you are a guest in her home. The only thing missing was DONNA! The beds were ALL incredibly comfortable even the couch fold out. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

I've rented many houses in the Cambria/Cayucos area, but none of them were as well equipped and comfortable as this one. My family does a 'mini' family retreat every year and this was one of the nicest. The house slept all 10 of us comfortably and the location (right near the park)made for lively football games and more low key walks. The owner furnishes everything to make your Cambria experience an enjoyable one. You can't go wrong with this home!!

What a terrific find in Cambria. We all just thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, extremely well designed, furnished and decorated home. The kitchen was a joy and so much fun to use. However , the beds were just THE BEST. The views from the multiple balconies kept us in touch with the ocean and nature and reminded us constantly of our great fortune in being in this wonderful home and location at this special time in our lives.

This home is beautiful, well kept and fully stocked with anything you will ever need. Great care has been put into your enjoyment and comfort. The bed linens are top quality. The kitchen has pots and pans as well as utensils I wish I had. There is comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people and is easy to keep clean. You will have a great time at this vacation home and I recommend it to you.

Our Birthday/Slumber party was a great success. Donna's home is beautiful and comfy. We loved how 'ready to occupy' it was. Donna always went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we could possibly need as well as providing great advise on local restaurants and wineries.

Our group of eight quilters stayed at the house for a long weekend retreat. It was absolutely fabulous. The owner has gone to great lengths to make the house comfortable as well as beautiful. We all felt like we were royalty, to be staying in a home of that magnitude and in that location, just a block from the ocean. We will definitely be planning to stay there again (as soon as possible!).

This is a very nice place to stay in Cambria. Plenty of room, nice view and close to the beach and walking trails.

Our management team from the winery stayed in the house for a weekend in January. The ocean view is incredible. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The owner is a pleasure to work with. It exceeded all our expectations. Location is perfect: close to town, beach, park and restaurants. We will definitely return for a visit.

I stayed at this awesome home for the 2005 Labor Day weekend with my seven sisters for our Annual Sister Slumber party. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Everything we needed was either at the home or available via a short drive to Cambria. The "house rules" were easy to follow and not to cumbersome. If your hosting a small group, don't hesitate to use this rental. It truly was home away from home.

The Proctor’s house on Bristol Street is lovely and comfortable with every amenity you could possibly wish for including beautiful oceans views. You can walk on the beach nearby or in the neighborhood parks which have hilltop direct ocean views. The house is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the charming town of Cambria, Paso Robles wine country and the Hearst Castle. There is great bike riding on quiet country roads. We can’t wait to come back. Donna Proctor is extremely helpful and delightful to work with.

Our extended family of 10 (ranging from ages 2.5 to 61) just returned from our Cambria trip and we had a great time. The house was clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable with enough space for people to gather together as well as have individual space. We would definitely recommend this rental home.

A perfect home for a group vacation. It is large, quiet, great views, great location, well stocked with anything one would need. Clean up is tough (if you have a large group) with a high cleaning charge. I recommend hiring a cleaning service on your own to clean. Otherwise, I would recommend the house.

We stayed at this lovely home for my daughter's graduation. My parent's loved the location and house so much they never wanted to leave. We had such a nice time. We are going to stay again and make it a family tradition. Thank you Donna for all you help.
