My country cottage is part of The Rocky Shores condo. Guests can walk down the long drive to Rockport's most scenic coast. Backyard has a stone wall with field making a picturesque location for a barbecue. There is a common grass area for guests at the top of the drive. My cottage has its own little patio with ocean and island views including the twin lighthouses of Thacher's island.
The living room also has nice views. Guests can walk the scenic coast to Loblolly cove, a quarter of a mile to fish for stripers or kayak or just explore. Swimming is available a half mile away at Pebble Beach. Larger beaches, Long Beach 1 mile, and Good Harbor two miles, fees for parking. Whale watching and deep sea fishing available in nearby Gloucester.
Downtown Rockport 2 miles with famous art galleries, shops and restaurants, also the train to Boston runs every half hour. Kayak rentals available in Rockport to explore the islands. Many guests return every year but I have room for new.

Last year I stayed at this lovely cottage. I could not believe how lucky we were to find this cottage. I can drink my coffee ouside, smell the fresh sea air, see the sea and the lighthouse. It doesn't get much better than that! The cottage is well maintained and cosy. Very inviting. Extremely well located and close to everything you need, including the "world famous" good harbor beach. We had such a great time that we plan on coming back soon! Thanks to the owners for sharing such a delightful spot!
