This is a very charming home. We are located in Sandstone. Just across from Lionshead. You can walk into lionshead in less than 10 minutes. A private cul d'sac with 8 homes. Sip a glass of wine on the deck, watch Vail's Saturday night fireworks from the 12 foot floor to ceiling windows. Newly remodeled, our two story duplex is wonderfully decorated with a contemporary mountain décor. The two bedrooms and baths are located downstairs. The upstairs is a great room with huge windows on all sides. It is a great room for entertaining. Located in the heart of Vail, a two minute walk to the free bus. We are located in Sandstone, a short walk to Lionshead. Every convenience and comfort you can imagine. Hike or bike out the back door. Fishing nearby. View Vail mountain from the deck. Perfect for four with two cozy bedrooms and baths downstairs and a wonderful open great room upstairs. Renting now for the the 08/09 winter.
Unlike many listings you will see, our place is privately owned and privately listed (not part of a property management company).
Sandstone is directly across from Lionshead on the opposite side of the interstate. If walking you can go over the pedestrian bridge directly into Lionshead. So our deck overlooks Vail mountain. We are approximately 3/4 mile from Vail Village.

For cross-country, snowshoe and snowmobile enthusiasts, you will find Piney Lake and the North trail out the back door. There are miles of trails for all the above activities and snowmobile tours and rentals as well.
In the summer, some of the best mountain bike trails are in this same area. One of the local favorites, Sun of Middle Creek is a short 5 minute ride away. Plus, for hiking enthusiast, the North Trail system and Piney offer endless opportunities to explore.
Now the info on pets. We allow one dog at a time. It is a great area for dogs. Hiking trails out the door and lots of dogs in the area to play with. We have a comfy dog bed, food/water bowls, a supply of tennis balls and other toys. Your furry friend will feel right at home. **Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs that are consistent barkers due to concern for our neighbors**
And for you...
Relax in front of our fireplace, watch a movie from our sizable collection, or play one of our many board games. On Saturday night you can watch the local fireworks from the deck. We have a fully-equiped kitchen along with a bbq grill.
Both bedrooms are downstairs. Each with it's own bath. Included are down duvets, egyptian cotton sheets, towels and more.
A brand new Asko washer / dryer for super effecient cleaning.
**We do have a queen sized aerobed if needed.
