Barton Springs, the famous 1,000 foot-long spring-fed pool — with a year-round water temperature of 68 degrees — is located within the 360-acre Zilker Park on the shores of Lady Bird Lake (formerly Town Lake) in downtown Austin and less than five miles from the Glendale property.
Notes: We will do anything possible to facilitate your requests, as we understand this is your vacation, and we want it to be as enjoyable as possible. All rentals include coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, and general condiments. We are happy to purchase other groceries on your behalf in advance of your visit, and the local neighborhood store is two blocks away. There is a broadband internet connection, along with Wi-Fi for your computing needs. Digital HD TV service is provided with surround sound and DVD player. There is an AT&T landline with free local calls and an answering machine.
Golf: Austin has several daily fee and semi-private golf courses easily accessible from this Central Austin location and we can help you select the best course for your stay, and help with tee times if requested. All golf requests should be made at least two weeks in advance of your visit to help secure tee times that meet your schedule.
