  We have just returned from two weeks in this exquisite villa and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was. The owner, Vonig, met us at the house, and was gracious and welcoming to a fault. She answered all of our questions regarding shopping, restaurants, etc. and then slipped out to let us enjoy the remainder of the day. She was always available by phone but was never obtrusive. The description of the villa is certainly accurate but there is no way to adequately describe the setting. It is magnificent. Completely private, bursting with flowers and trees, it is gorgeous! the property is extremely well maintained and beautifully furnished. The pool is a lovely and refreshing addition and we swam every day. The village of Le Diamant is a very short drive away and offers good restaurants and a beautiful beach, as well as bakeries, a pharmacy and a small grocery store. Situated in the south of the island, the villa makes an easy jumping off point for sightseeing anywhere, including the Mt. Pelee area in the north, which we explored easily in a day. Not only would we recommend this villa to friends, including those with older children, we can't wait to go back ourselves!

  When you rent something on the Internet you are never really sure you did the right thing. When we arrived here we understood right ahead that, yes, we had got it right. And at the end of our stay we were even more happy, and feeling lucky. The villa is beautiful and very well located. Basically all remarkable beach in the island are easy to reach from there. The Diamant Village is nice and cozy, and has nice restaurants (that we really appreciated). The tropical garden around the swimming pool is beautiful, and very well taken care of (like everything in this villa, I must say). Many flowers, many plants, lot of variety. The private swimming pool is kept in perfect cleanliness and efficiency and, yes, it so nice to bath there, say, first thing in the morning or just before dinner... The place is quiet and we could enjoy perfect relax in nice isolation. The "Caribbean" shape of the villa is something we really appreciated: the internal patio is centered around the swimming pool (and closed from the exterior by the tropical garden). Both the kitchen and the very elegant living room are opened on the patio, where you also have a large dining table and a corner with armchairs and a table set: you will spend large part of your time there, and if sometimes you get a fast going rain (it happens in Caribbeans...) you will enjoy it even more, covered under the patio looking at the water falling. The villa is very elegant, and all furniture is such: from the leather sofas to the very large LCD TV, the blue disk player and much more. The kitchen has everything you could need, and all appliances are modern and functional. The two bedrooms are both very nice and spacious. What was very important for us was the continuous assistance we got from the owners. We got real, fast, effective support every time we needed, and we never felt alone (there was a problem with internet and one with some appliance: even on Sunday people came and helped, and the problem was always solved with the shortest possible delay). We got nice, elegant, continuous support (even when we had questions like where to find really good fresh fish we got a lot of friendly help). The listing description was indeed accurate and the property was perfectly clean and well maintained. Customer service was perfect and, surely yes, we would recommend this property to dear friends and relatives. We hope we will ourselves go back there soon.

  We stayed here for a week and had the relaxing time we needed and expected. The hostess was very helpful. The location was a little bit hard to find and the hostess was "incomunicado" (mobile problems) while we were lost and during our stay. Fortunately we had our laptop and communicated by emails. The villa is very spacious and fully equipped with everything, except beach towels! The villa, pool and gardens are very well kept. You need a rental car. The town is very close, but we don't recommend you walk. The welcome cocktail and breakfast on the first day is a thoughtful touch. Is also very convenient to have a few things handy, just to replace after you get to the supermarket. In the month of May the mosquitoes were a big problem. You need repellent and coils to keep them at bay. Don't miss L'Habitation Clement, and have dinner at La Ferme Des Orchidees. For local food, have lunch at Le Crew in Fort de France. You should also visit Trois Ilets; colorful and charming town. We recommend this villa and it's hostess, Vonig!

  Bien situé. Environnement agéable et calme... vue magnifique. Maison trés bien équipée. Il ne manque rien. Accueil trés sympathique. Les photos ne trompent pas du tout. Lorsque l'on franchit le petit portillon bleu, on rentre dans un vrai petit paradis... Le matin, c'est agréable de prendre le petit déjeuner face au diamant... ou le soir de s'y détendre bercés par le bruit des vagues... bref on y resterait !!! A ne pas hésiter sincérement.

  Excellent accomodation, calm, very clean, great view, nice pool; centrally on the island - perfect for bathing and hiking; very pleasant care by perfect english-speaking host; neighbouring house on one side - but perfectly separated (by tight trees) - no disturbance

  Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der offene Übergang zwischen Wohnbereich und Garten verstärkt die tropischen Gefühle. Es gibt keine Wände, sondern nur Rollläden, mit denen bei Bedarf das Haus geschlossen werden kann. Die Ausstattung (inkl. Betten) ist sehr gut, TV kann allerdings nur in französischer Sprache empfangen werden. Der schön angelegte Garten mit kleinem Pool lädt zum Relaxen ein. Die Freude wird allerdings dadurch geschmälert, dass das Haus neben der aus Gartensicht unsichtbaren Hauptstrasse der Halbinsel liegt und der Verkehr bis auf wenige Nachtstunden immer zu hören ist. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Falls Sie einen Strand mit Liegen, Sonnenschirm, Dusche und Strandbar schätzen: Den einzigen haben wir im Hotel Bakoua in Les Trois Ilets gefunden in der Bucht gegenüber von Fort de France. Die Liegen können auch von Externen halb- oder tagesweise gemietet werden (ohne Handtücher).

  Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 semaines en juillet dernier dans cette magnifique villa; tout était parfait, vraiment en conformité avec les photos: très beau jardin bien fleuri et ensoleillé, piscine très agréable, équipements et décoration intérieure soignés. Du jardin situé à l'arrière de la maison, vue extraordinaire sur le Diamant avec un petit coin aménagé permettant de profiter des splendides couchers de soleil. Grande plage et centre du village accessibles en 10mn à pied (montée assez raide au retour).La plage est très belle et bien que la mer y soit un peu agitée, on peut se baigner sans aucun problème; si on préfère des eaux plus calmes, il existe de nombreuses criques à environ 15mn de voiture. Accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire qui est vraiment adorable, joignable à tout moment en cas de problème et peut vous communiquer de bonnes adresses de restaurants ou d'excursions. Des vacances vraiment réussies, nous espérons revenir une autre année.
