Rates: Sunday through Thursday $110.00 per night double occupancy.
Friday and Saturday night rates apply during major holidays.
Each additional person is $35.00.

Why the Owner Chose Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg is a historic German town. It has long been a chosen get-a-way destination for people all over the world. We also call this area home where we have raised both our children.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our Property is a twenty minute drive to Downtown Fredericksburg. It is situated on 4.5 acres surrounded by large Live Oak trees. There are two covered porches for relaxing and a patio for outdoor dining and grilling. From the back deck or patio you will hear the water fall of the water garden and possibly see the passing deer or other wildlife. There is a well maintained private jacuzzi on the patio.

My boyfriend and I were really happy with this house rental and I was so happy it was dog-friendly. The house was very clean, secluded and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub, the piano and big bathtub in the master bedroom. I was keen on cooking so I was delighted to find a full kitchen with pots/pans, plates, silverware, a dishwasher, etc. Honestly we couldn't believe how generous and helpful the owners were. They left us homemade muffins that were absolutely delicious, strawberries, a bottle of OJ, coffee and half-n-half. When we couldn't figure out how to work the hot tub, they came over right away to help us. I'd highly recommend this house for a relaxing getaway!

We surprised my grandmother with a girls' weekend to Fredericksburg for her 80th birthday. The house was perfect for our needs -- clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and plenty of space (including bathrooms!) for 7 adults + one infant. We watched deer in the morning and enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Thanks for being such a great host, Susan!

Very clean and well kept. All of the basic necessities were provided including bottled water, coffee, juice, even eggs. We liked the fact that it was very secluded and quiet. Sitting on the covered patios at the front and back of the house was delightful. We saw deer every evening.

Suzi - we had a wonderful and relaxing time at Oak Grove. It was just what we needed! Most of our time was spent on the porches watching the deer, rabbits and birds while reading and enjoying a glass of wine. We did take an occasional trip to a winery, the shops in Fredericksburg and to eat German food. Thank you so much for your recommendations, supplying us with coffee, juice, snacks, and most of all, the delicious blueberry and apple muffins! The home was clean, well-maintained and was even nicer than the property description and photos. I would definitely recommend Oak Grove to anyone and hope to go back soon.

What a relaxing place to stay. It is so peaceful. My husband and I enjoyed every moment. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front covered deck at night to relax and star gaze. We highly recommend this bed & breakfast as a get-a-way. We are planning a summer trip and bringing 10 people.
