  Lynn and Colin were great host, going out of their way to insure we had a great stay, which we did. Our oldest used the living room for sleep and it worked perfectly, hot tub was a blessing after long hikes, all recommodatios were the best for our needs and they did not complain about our noises....

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  My family and I stayed for just two nights and really enjoyed our time here. Colin and Lyn made us feel very welcome, giving us lots of information about sights to see and places to eat, and the unit was stocked with spices and coffee and all that we could need. By staying here we felt we got a head start on the Road to Hana and were only an hour and a half from the peak of Haleakala. Colin suggested we do the hike at the Oheo Gulch to the bamboo forest and waterfall, and it was one of our favorite adventures. Pa'ia was just around the corner for dinner too. Two days here wasn't nearly enough time to see everything and enjoy the hospitality.

  The rental was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners are very friendly and had great suggestions on how we could spend our time. We liked the out of the way location and enjoyed the neighboring small towns. We did a drive to Hana and found some information about the drive available in the rental. We made meals in the rental and also took advantage of some fun and great dinning in surrounding small towns. The unit was clean and the description was accurate. The photo's show the place as we found it. I would recommend this property to friends and family. Thanks to the owners for a providing a nice place.

  My husband and I spent the month of June in this rental unit...what a treat!! The location was perfect...very quiet but close to town and the ocean....lovely views of the volcano as well as the water. Colin and Lyn (owners) were so hospitable and friendly....even welcomed us with tropical flowers and fruit...being long term island residents, they provided us with great information and recommendations for restaurants,sightseeing and activities. The unit was spotless and well appointed...and we certainly enjoyed the hot tub after our busy days. We will be back....
