This property is exceptional. The house has the perfect combo of country mixed with classic Swedish flair. Best location in the heart of Trinity county- we have lots of family there and it was centrally located to all of them. A few of them came to see the house and absolutely fell in love with it. So if locals loved the location and house, you know it's fabulous! Home owners are great and so easy to work with- thank you.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I am debating on whether or not to give a good review, then it will be booked up all the time. I really can't say enough about this place, it's exactly what my husband and I have been looking for, peace and quiet, nature at every turn, so comfortable, you feel like you're home the minute you walk in the door. Both of us love to cook and can't think of a thing that we needed that wasn't there. Everything neat and orderly, everything worked. The view from the deck is spectacular! The bed is very comfortable, but make sure the slats are in place before you go to bed. My husband got up the first morning and complained that the bed was very uncomfortable, I said "really, I thought it was dreamy" I took a look and found that somehow the slats on his side were on the floor. Had a good laugh and fixed it it a minute. We will be back as many times as we can. Wonderful people to deal with!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

Nice place. Quiet location. Conveniently located to Lewiston as well as the Trinity River. Would have no problems staying there again - if we were in that neck of the woods. Best rental available, period; and we looked all the others over that we found on the internet while we were there. Would HIGHLY recommend the place.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

4 of us were in the area for steelheading and the cabin was perfect to spread out, build a fire, and relax. The great room has everything you need to pass a rainy October night and the morning fog wildlife and proximity to the river (you're on it!) is amazing. You can watch salmon from the porch and spot some nice pools around Bucktail launch. I would recommend to friends and family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband, two young children and myself stayed at the cabin for my husbands 40th bday. Just in time for the salmon and steelhead to begin their journey. We could see the fish from the porch and watch them feeding at dusk. The kids had a blast and mom and dad got to relax. Saw lots of great critters and the cabin was as cosy as could be. A wonderful getaway for families.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Excellent place for small family up to 4. We stayed 4 days in late August. The weather was hot, but the evap cooler worked fine, we were gone most of the daytime anyway, and we turned it off a night , as it cools down a lot in the Trinity after sundown. The property backs up right against the river, very nice view off the deck. Small kitchen, but has all the amenities you will need, plus a good supply of basics and herbs/spices if you need some. We had our chocolate lab with us, he loved it. If you want super modern and huge, this one's not for you. A tad rustic, but we liked that, and the price is right. Henrik is a helpful, friendly owner. Recommended.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

As soon as you open the front door and walk into the cabin, you feel at home. It is steps from the Trinty River and although we weren't as smart as the fish we still had a great time. It is the perfect place to relax, catch up on your reading, or enjoy watching the deer in back yard. I know we will return as soon as time permitRecommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We absolutely fell in love the moment we drove up! This is a beautiful, clean cabin with all the ammenities needed! Just unload your suitcase and enjoy! The view from the deck is amazing! We enjoyed morning coffee and dinner on the deck daily. Our chairs felt like sundials! It was a hot week (95-100 degrees) and we were happy for for the swamp cooler! Local fishing is great! The Salmon were running in a "honey hole" within walking distance, so we ate well! We look forward to booking another trip! We will stay here again! Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Watching the river roll by was so nice. .Loved watching the ducks and an otter. My husband was able to catch a 14 inch trout right from the lawn area. We made day trips to both Lewiston and Trinity lakes for boating and swimming in between the unusual rainy days for June. We rented some dvds from the pizza place in Lewiston during the wet days.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
