This 27m2 small duplex house, is the most romantic place you could ever find in Montmartre.
It fits for 2 or 3 guests. The owner is an actor living in Montmartre. He personally redesigned it, in a charming authentic style, looking for the nicest ancient spiral staircase or antic oak wardrobe doors.
One enters on the top level in the bright living room and fully equipped open kitchen. A large window offers a view on the large garden opposite the street. A round window opens on the charming courtyard of the building.
A sofa may sit 3 or sleep 1. One dines one the low level table seated on the sofa. A real chimney is present. The spiral stair case leads down to the bedroom. It is steep, one has to know that.
On lower level, the bedroom faces the garden opposite. The double bed may be lifted up vertically if necessary. Bathroom has a bathtub. It is open inside the bedroom. Toilets are obviously separate. Two large wardrobes closed by the ancient oak doors also give a touch of romance.
As a bonus, Phone calls to land lines in France, and to US, Canada and australia are generaly free. It is also true for more than 50 countries. More over, calls to cell phones towards specific countries (often US & Canada) may also be free. Ask us for detail as it may vary with time and policies of operators.
This part of Montmartre is one that remains intact from the old days. The “Chateau des Brouillard” is on the right. The street is full of private houses. You would never think being in a metropole. It is 3mn walking distance to the Sacre-Coeur and its gardens. The ABBESSES district is same distance. ABESSES is the trendy district where you will find bars, restaurants, shops, and galleries.
The ABBESSES or LAMARCK subway station are 3mn walk. This location is a perfect base to visit Paris. It stays 15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

François is an actor. He played in many movies and TV series. He refurbished and designed the studio with the help of his architect brother. He wanted to keep the spirit of the locations and spent time and antics shops and flee markets to find a beautiful antic wooden spiral staircase and oak wardrobe doors.

Very cute apartment. AMAZING location in charming and romantic Montmartre. A minute walk to the metro, 5 min walk from everything else (Cafe, groceries, resto, movies), and a short walk to Basilique du Sacre-Coeur and Dali Space museum. Stayed there in January and it was unbelievable. Can't imagine how great this must be in the summer. Recommended for couples. Merci :)

The apartment was just what I needed. I would say this is a really great location and everything in the apartment is as shown. I stayed by myself and this place could easily sustain one or two more people. The neighbors were very nice and overall I had a great stay.

Bonjour Jean-Noel, I trust you will find the apartment in good standing. We tried to leave everything as we found it. We could not get the Internet/tv to work, but were not at the apartment to use it much. We really loved your apartment and Montmartre itself.
