Location: Palace Resort, Myrtle Beach Central South, Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA
Accommodations: Condo, Studio + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2)
Keywords: Condominium
If you are seeking the finest accommodations for one or two adults along the Grand Strand then look no further. My highly upgraded studio condominium at Myrtle Beach's Palace Resort has been thoroughly redesigned, newly furnished and appointed with very best that money can buy. And to top it all off the views from anywhere inside this 17th floor condo are unsurpassed, even compared with other units in the complex, most of which have only angled side views of the beach. Unit 1703 is a direct beachfront unit with views of BOTH the south along the Grand Strand AND the east, directly far out into the Atlantic Ocean. You can always hear the sound of the surf right inside the condo, even on the calmest of days. So look no further. And don't settle for just "average accomodations". You deserve the best getaway for your hard-earned dollars. After all, vacations should be remembered with a smile and not with disappointment.
Having undergone a complete renovation and remodel which was completed in February 2009, unit 1703 is a premier beachfront condo where no expense has been spared. Custom cherry cabinets adorn the kitchen with "personally" hand-picked granite counter tops. All new stainless steel appliances give the kitchen its final finishing touches.
Medium grey ceramic floor tiles have been incorporated throughout, giving the condo a classic neutral tone.
A top-of-the-line leather reclining sofa in the living room affords pleasant views of the Grand Strand to the south. Enjoy the ocean and strand views while watching the 27" wall-mounted digital television.
The sleeping area, with a brand new double bed, has windows with views to the east of the Atlantic Ocean and to the south along the Grand Strand.
The private cozy balcony has two chairs and some of the the most breath-taking views of the ocean, beaches and surrounding area.
Please take advantange of a $ 100 reduction in the weekly rental rate when you pay in full at the time of your booking 30 days or more in advance.
I no longer charge the cleaning fee to guests for weekly stays (7 nights) or longer.
Please note that not all condos at The Palace Resort are created equal. Each unit is individually owned and furnishings and style will vary. Sure, you can rent a lesser quality condo for perhaps less money, but if you are seeking top-quality furnishings, location and amenities then your search ends here. I am completely confident that you will absolutely love everything about my condominium.
I have a strict "no pets" policy as well as no smoking either in the unit or on the balcony. This condominium is ideal for one or two adults only. Maximum occupancy requirements will apply and are strictly enforced. Kindly refrain from requesting a lesser rental amount as the rates are non-negotiable. A $ 100.00 security/damage deposit (seperate charge) is fully refundable upon the return of the keys after checkout. Daily rates available off season but daily rentals will only be considered in season (June 11 - August 20, 2011) if unit is available 14 days or less prior to requested dates.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2009
As a licensed real estate broker in Ohio and California since the early 1980's I manage my own offices, specializing in resort property resales and rentals, investments and sales of large tracts of western land. I have bought and sold over 24,000 acres of prime Nevada real estate since 2004, many houses/condos in California and Ohio as well as owner-manage two vacation condos, one in Myrtle Beach, SC and the other at Mission Lakes Country Club in Palm Springs California.
Why the Owner Chose Palace Resort
I chose The Palace Resort in Myrtle Beach to buy this condo because of the excellent value for the dollar when buying beachfront property. A primary consideration for me was the commanding view of the ocean and Grand Strand, especially from this particular unit. Parking at The Palace is easy with a covered garage and easy access to the condos, so you never have to worry about inclement weather going from your car into the resort. Compared to the southern California beachfront market for condos, Myrtle Beach offers a less crowded environment without the headaches of beach parking and traffic congestion. Myrtle Beach, especially the Palace Resort, is truly a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Everything was exactly as described. The condo was very nicely decorated and well maintained. The condo is located directly on the ocean for great ocean views. I have been coming to Myrtle Beach my entire life and this condo was a great deal. My fiancee and I stayed 7 nights and were spoiled by the end of the stay. It is easy to get used to waking up and looking out over the ocean and feeling that breeze. I am ready to go back as I write this review. The fully functional kitchen was also very useful. We saved a ton of money by buying groceries before going. You can't go wrong with this condo!

This condo is everything the listing shows and more. Fantastic view and the ocean breeze was wonderful. We can't remember a more relaxing vacation, we got in the habit of afternoon naps as it was so peaceful and just felt like home!!! The staff at the Palace were very helpful and we had no problems of any kind during our stay. Bill is very accommodating and answered our e-mails promptly, letting us stay a few hours extra due to our flight times. The condo is well equipped with kitchen supplies along with lots of towels and anything else one could possibly need. We agree with Dan's review, Drunkin Jacks in Murrells Inlet is great!. Long story short, we would go back in a minute. Thanks Bill for everything, fantastic stay!!
Owner response:Thanks so much for the kind words Alan and Vicki. I truly appreciate hearing how much you enjoyed your stay. Actually, we have never dined at Drunken Jacks but my wife and I will make a point to go there next time we are in Myrtle Beach since several people now highly recommend it !

Say what you want about Myrtle Beach! This is a GREAT condo and on a beautiful stretch of the beach. This place is perfect. Mr. Bennett has spared no expense. It has to be the best condo on The Palace property. We spent 9 perfect days there and found something different to do every day. One thing we did everyday, is enjoy beautiful sun rises (and sets) and moon rises right off our balcony on the 17th floor (and from the beach itself). The sea food at Murrells Inlet is very good.....recommend Drunken Jack's (great chef). The views are very cool, the food is even better. Live music out side the Damon's (rib place right down the beach) is a very cool, at the out door bar over looking the beach. The staff at the Palace is average, but you don't even need them. The condo is self sufficient, loaded with everything you need, you just need to stock with food and drinks. Great trip! If your a cyclist as I am, you will love riding in Myrtle. Bike friendly motorist, nice routes right on the Myrtle Beach bike route web site. I rode 125 miles that week and loved it. Early morning rides are the best for low traffic and great temps. Call or email Bill and enjoy!

This unit exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a getaway that offered the ocean as a main attraction, and that is exactly what I received. The unit is as beautiful as the pictures and was just perfect. The beach was just steps from the door of the complex so I could sit in the sun during the day and sit on my balcony at night. I will definitely revisit this unit again!

My husband and I just returned from Bill's wonderful condo and could not have made a better choice. The place was amazing with beautiful views every day for coffee and beachwalks. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including cooking up some fresh local seafood dinners. We rented through him, but the staff at the Palace is very helpful and friendly if we needed anything. Found some favorite new places to eat like Duffy St and Margaritaville (Don't miss the hurricane performance there!) On a rainy day we traveled up the coast to N Myrtle Beach to Blue Waters Pottery for the most fun one on one pottery class, Tracy was great! We felt close to everything we wanted to do and had a wonderful trip. Thanks Bill for all your help, vacation guides, and information. We LOVED your place!

This condo was exactly as advertised. The owner Bill was a pleasure to deal with. He answered all questions very quickly. The view was amazing from the balcony. As mentioned it is a small balcony but the condo is for two people so it works. The upgrades make this a first class condo. Everything is very well kept. Very clean also. The condo includes everything you would need. Just pack your personal belongings and enjoy everything the condo and Myrtle Beach have to offer. I am missing it already. I would rent this condo again. The pictures are very accurate and up to date also. I read some negative reviews of the Palace Resort but I had no problems what so ever. Yes the elevators do run a little slow but I was on vacation and that would never be enough to ruin a trip or cause a negative review. No complaints, perfect trip to Myrtle Beach - I am sure you will enjoy the condo. Thanks Bill for sharing your condo and for being so helpful! If you are looking for a good steak I would recommend Angelo's (2011 South Kings Highway).

such a wonderful view of the ocean and the Grand Strand! we enjoyed our stay in this condo overlooking all the activity. i was able to observe the best times to hit the beach and/or the pool. we biked both North and South for our day trips during the Motorcycle weekend. it was delightful w/many places to stop for an ice cold beer (or 2) and live music! our stay coincided w/the opening of the new boardwalk and we relished the chance to be part of history and the community. we attended an exceptional play at the Carolina Stage located in the community college. everyone is so friendly and the perch retreat was ideal for a good night's sleep. we ate every home meal on the balcony and heard the ocean sounds continuously. we judged high/low tides from our vantage points which yielded the best shell collection times. elevator access was not a problem or delay. the jacuzzi on the 22nd floor was a pearl that we had to ourselves afterwards walking down the East stairway to our room. the owner was great to deal with and true to his word and schedule. you couldn't ask for a more cozy atmosphere w/great attendants and accoutrements. thanks, Bill.
