This is truly a beautiful and spacious apartment in a historical centre of Berlin. The apartment itself is fully equipped, clean, safe, and beautiful, with an amazing vantage point of Strausberger Platz. The location is in the Platz in truly historical and significant buildings. Karl-Marx Allee has tremendous historical significance for Berlin and although Alexanderplatz is an important landmark and beautiful central location to visit, I also thoroughly enjoyed walking a few kilometers east down Karl-Marx to visit important locales all along the way. Volkspark is a beautiful park very close by just past the Supermarket and worth a stroll. This location allows you to explore every significant area in downtown Berlin from the Wall, Check-Point Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, all of the central Museums, Memorials, Tiergarten, etc; you name it you can easily walk from Strausberger or Alexander Platz. If you are tired from your stroll the U-Bahn (U5) is easy to figure out from Alex Platz. In fact, I arrived by train to Central Station and cabbed to Strausberger but easily negotiated my way back there for departure by taking the U5 to Alex and then upstairs to the S-Lines (5, 7, 75) to HBF Central station in 15 minutes. This is truly a beautiful place to have an opportunity to vacation while living the life of a Berliner. Right outside your door is a beautiful Italian Restaurant with tables set up in the Courtyard. In either direction there are bars, Cafes, and restaurants a short stroll away. You will NOT be disappointed staying in the "A-Class" Apartment. All dealings with the Owner, Peter, were professional, courteous and more than obliging to all of my questions and needs.

Buchungsproezedere Die Buchung war problemlos und rasch, mehr gibt's dazu eigentlich nicht zu sagen! Lage der Wohnung Die Wohnung liegt wenige U-Bahn Stationen vom Alex entfernt und hat eine ausgezeichnete Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz. Die Tatsache, dass sie an einer Durchzugsstraße liegt, fällt in der Praxis nicht auf - die Fenster halten Schall gut ab und es schläft sich ausgezeichnet! Ausstattung Vorhanden ist alles, was man zum Bestreiten des Alltags so braucht, und mehr. Sehr hilfreich ist auch die Tatsache, dass man ein w-lan kapern kann. Preis Das Appartment ist sein Geld wert! Gesamturteil Der Berlin-Aufenthalt in diesem Appartment war extrem angenehm. Hervorzuheben ist die absolut gute Organisation der Schlüsselübergabe - der Host weiss was er tut und das merkt man auch! Das Appartment ist eigentlich eine vollwertige Wohnung mit allem, was man sich so wünscht. Sauber, gut ausgesattet und insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Location was great for young and old, elevator building perfect for my 82 YO. uncle and great nightlife for us in walking distance...Bars, pubs and resturants...Very clean, modern flat, big rooms and kitchen that was comfortable to cook and eat in! Shopping for food nearby and would recommend this to friendss and family and look forward to staying here again..Thanks Peter!

Zuviel versprochen?!

Die Bilder, die Beschreibung, die bisherigen Bewertungen und auch die ersten Kontaktaufnahmen klangen sehr vielversprechend. Leider war dann nicht alles so toll wie versprochen: Unsere Ankunft (2 Erw., 3 Kinder) schien schlichtweg nicht vorbereitet worden zu sein; ein zusätzliches Bett sowie ein versprochener Wein fehlte; der Parkettboden war so schmutzig, dass unsere Barfuss-herumrennende Tochter schwarze (!) Füsse bekam. Ein daraufhin versprochener Putztrupp wurde jedoch leider nicht gesehen. Weiterhin fehlte es an Selbstverständlichkeiten wie Küchenhandtücher oder Toilettenpapier. Mindestens Ersteres sowie auch das zusätzliche Bette wurden jedoch noch prompt am gleichen Tag vorbeigebracht. Alles in allem kann man sich in der Wohnung wohlfühlen: Sie ist hell und freundlich gestaltet. Ganz ruhig ist es nicht, da die grossen Strassen nicht zu überhören sind. Die U-Bahn ist direkt vor der Haustür, in Richtung Stadtmitte muss man jedoch stets am Alexanderplatz umsteigen (eine durchgehende Verbindung befindet sich noch im Bau). Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 300m entfernt. Empfehlung: Vielleicht sollte man sich ein paar Tage vor Ankunft nochmals beim Vermieter melden, damit man sicher nicht "vergessen" geht.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was a longer walk from Alexanderplatz than we felt the advertisement stated (took around 15 mins), but once we started using the U-Bahn stop located directly outside the building, the city was very easily accessible. We had a young child with us, but the apartment was spacious enough that she could sleep in another room. The apartment is extremely large and clean and located in a safe area. There is a bakery and a cafe nearby, as well as a grocery store. The woman who let us in was very flexible about our check-out time and very helpful in recommending restaurants/sites. We would recommend this apartment to others.

Good Location

This apartment was conveniently located near the U-Bahn. The owner promptly responded to all emails. It is a very basic apartment. The kitchen is small, and I think it would be a stretch to say it was fully equipped. There is a small selection of dishes, pots and pans and cutlery, a gas stove and oven, a kettle and a small fridge. It is good for preparing something quick and easy, but there is not much prep room for the person who really likes to cook. There is a nice market just down the street, which made stocking up easy. We found it best to bring our own canvas shopping bags because you can carry more in a single bag when walking. My two sons and I stayed at six VRBO sites on our trip to Europe. Given our experience, the price and the location, this is a fair deal. I would suggest providing more linens, though. We only received one bath towel each for 5 nights, and there was no washer or dryer, which was a stretch. There was not quite enough bedding for our comfort, either. The internet worked most of the time, which was great because we were blogging daily, but it did stop working our final day. There is television, but it is all in German with no international news channels in other languages. This was fine because we were out most of the time, anyway, and the majority of the time we had internet to catch up on the news. It is a good place to sleep, shower, warm up from the frigid weather, and prepare a simple meal in a good location. Not a lot of frills, but the price is fair for what is offered.

We booked an apartment but in the end we felt like at home because it was so cosy, bright and quiet. The area is absolute safe and you find all necessary things: Supermarket, restaurants, bakery. Connection to public transport is excellent: 10min to Alexanderplatz by using the metro in front of the house entrance. All of our addition questions before and after booking were answered very soon and professional. We will definitely recommend this apartment to friends and hope to come back next year.

Die sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung war genau das Richtige für unseren Kurztrip nach Berlin: Super zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Sogar kostenloses Parken war möglich. Die tolle Anbindung an das U-Bahn Netz rundete das Ganze ab. Ach ja: Natürlich war alles sehr sauber und die Einrichtung überaus geschmackvoll. Sehr zu empfehlen für Familien!

I'm in my mid 30s and stayed here with my friend for her 60th birthday. The location is superb, the apartment is very warm and spacious and so quiet and peaceful. The email directions are clear and concise, and Anne who met us was wonderful in showing us how the apartment operates and answered all our tourist questions with knowledge and enthusiasm. I've recommended this apartment to friends as it is great value for money and the location is second to none. It is also spotless and the kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommended.

Das Apartment entsprach ganz der Beschreibung: modern eingerichtet, groß und trotzdem sehr persönlich (die alte Schreibmaschine und die Figuren setzen wunderbare Akzente). Mit der U-Bahn vor der Haustür erreicht man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten ganz schnell. Buchung und Check in waren ebenfalls sehr gut.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Berlin in einer Ferienwohnung und sind echt begeistert: Die Lage ist echt toll, die Buchung ging innerhalb weniger Minuten von statten und der Preis ist für eine junge Familie unschlagbar. Neben der tollen Ausstattung hat uns besonders gut gefallen, dass der Empfang so herzlich und informativ war. Auch unsere Kinder fanden die Wohnung super: Ganz nah an der U-Bahn, die sie so liebten. Peter's team met us at the apartment and was friendly and helpful. The apartment is new and modern. Floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom. Comfortable beds, supernice bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. Location, location location: The U-Bahn stop is direct in front of the house. Only some metres and just a little walk to all the great sites in Berlin. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, flower shops, organic vegetable shop is next door to the apartment. We really enjoyed being away from the extremely crowded tourist areas but still close enough to enjoy all the sites of Berlin.

A home away from home is a very good description for this apartment. It´s a nice + comfortable place, perfect base to explore Berlin. In the kitchen was everything we need for preparing breakfast (lunch+dinner we ate in restaurants nearby). The apartment was absolutely clean and quiet like mentioned in the advertisement. The welcome from Jozef (the lovely man who did the check in with us) was warm and heartful. Thanks for bringing an iron and adapter. We will come back!!

A very nice and warm comfortable apartment. Within easy reach of all public transport, wether it be a train,bus, tram or underground all are within a 5-10 minute walk away. Excellent location for easy access to Berlin's all tourist attractions. This was our second trip to Berlin and the apartment provided all necessary things we needed for our stay. Also just a 5 minute walk from the next supermarket, a bakery was in the apartment house: GREAT

We decided to head over to Berlin for the nightlife and sightseeing. We arrived to Berlin and Peter was the first phone cal we received to make sure we landed ok and to let us know that someone was going to be waiting for our arrival. When we arrived we were greeted by one of his employees and he gave us a tour of the apartment and helped us connect to the internet and gave us our phone for the week. The aparment was very contemporary and it was very clean. In front of the apartment you have the train station and Alexanderplatz is only two stops away. If you're going for the night life all the Major clubs are only 7 mins cab ride away. I would definitely look peter up when I return to berlin!

I had stayed here with 6 friends, you can't bet the location, price and comfort. Very clean and so spacious. The shower and kitchen are fantastic. You can't bet it. It's right next to the underground, a supermarket is just 5 minute walk and there is a bakery in the building!

Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist sehr liebevoll ausgewählt und zeugt von Geschmack. Alles was man von einer Ferienwohnung erwartet, ist auch vorhanden. Toll sind die zahlreichen Broschüren, die ausliegen. Den Angaben der Beschreibung entsprechend ist das Apartment sehr großzügig geschnitten. Der Platz ist für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder mehr als ausreichend. Die Anfragenbearbeitung, Reservierungsbestätigung und Übergabe der Wohnung durch Anne verlief sehr freundlich und überaus professionell. Die Wohnung ist auch wegen der Lage, dem tollen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und der Sauberkeit sehr zu empfehlen.

Diese Ferienwohnung kann ich allen Reisenden wärmstens empfehlen: Bereits bei der Anfrage und der späteren Buchungen hatten wir einen sehr netten und professionellen Kontakt mit dem Manager. Der Empfang in der Wohnung durch die Chefin des Housekeeping Teams war herzlich und sehr informativ. Im Apartment selbst haben wir alles Nötige vorgefunden (u.a. Prospekte von Museen und Stadtpläne). Sogar eine Flasche Riesling stand bereits im Kühler und rundete unseren ersten Abend in Berlin ab. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral. Super ist die U-Bahnhaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Ich wünsche allen eine ebenso tolle Zeit in Berlin wie wir in Peters Wohnung hatten. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

I had a very good stay in Peters flat. I was traveling alone for a project workshop to Berlin in this August. The apartment is very spacious and lovely decorated (and of course very clean). Although the location is very central was it not noisy. Unfortunately I forgot some very important working papers: The papers was sent to me on the next day. Great service and a great place!!! We visited Berlin for the first time and decide to take an apartment instead of a hotel: We have made an excellent decission: It was spacious, well equipped and much cheaper. The booking and payment procedure was very efficient but the welcome was warm and heartily (thanks Anne). The location was like in the description: Central but quiet. We had a great time and can recommend this place to other Berlin explorers.

We really enjoyed our time in Berlin staying at this apartment. We were met by Anne, who was really helpful and friendly, and turned up 5 mins after me calling her to let her know we'd arrived. The apartment was clean and adequately equipped for the 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children). There was one real bedroom, with 2 single beds, and we had 2 additional temporary beds in that room. The other 'bedroom' was the lounge where there was a sofa bed, but this was suitable for our needs. We took the underground (literally right outside the front of the apartment block) to the centre of Berlin where we saw the Berliner Dom, the Brandenberg Gate, various churches, and went up the TV Tower. We also went to the the Reichstag, and walked around the glass dome there. There are a couple of places near to the apartment where bits of the Berlin Wall are still standing, so we also visited these, and saw Checkpoint Charlie too. We loved the fact that there is so much to see within a small distance, and we had a great time despite the foul weather for much of the 3 days we were there. All in all we enjoyed our stay, liked the apartment, and its location. We would definately recommend it for a short stay.

Estuvimos alojados una semana en Agosto, nos recibieron bien y el apartamento está muy limpio. Es muy luminoso y tiene lo necesario para una estancia corta, quizá un poco mas de menaje de cocina sería de agradecer y una lavadora, porque tras una semana la ropa se acumula. Muy bien situado, con estación de metro muy cercana, supermercado, etc.

We came for sightseeing to Berlin and need just for sleeping a quiet home. Peters apartment was exactly what we need. After my request for availability I had have an offer for the apartment within 30min. And (that was the best) everything was explained in detail. Furthermore all my additional questions were answered (with links and attached screenshots). After I did the reservation the owner sent us instruction what is the best way to the apartment from the airport. Anne (the check in girl) welcomed us in the flat. A very warm welcome in a fantastic flat: Absolutely clean, well equipped and perfect located. Our stay in Berlin was fine and we can recommend the apartment to everybody!!!

Instead going in a hotel our group decide to take an apartment for this holiday. The booking procedure was very simple: I asked for availability and received the offer after 20min. We met the owner at the flat for the check in and he gave us a lot of very interesting information about Berlin. Special thanks for realizing guestlist in Panorama-Bar and the last minute reservation in the Sage-Restaurant. Btw: Flat was like in the description: central but quiet. And very clean! We had a great time and will come back asap ?

Having booked this apartment for the Berlin Beer Festival, which takes place on the Karl Marx Allee. It's location was good and the apartment itself is clean with 2 nice bedrooms. My only complaint is that we didn't actually stay at the apartment that was advertised and we also had issues with the checkout time. We arranged to meet 2 of Peter's friend's at the apartment, however, they were not there so I had to call them and try and understand where they were.. This was very late at night. We eventually found them, and they showed us into the apartment. Peter's website states that you can checkout until 10pm, however we were told we had to vacate the apartment at 10am on the Sunday we were leaving. We basically told Peter's friends that we were not going to leave at 10am, and that was that. However, I recommend that you agree a checkout time, this may proove stressful for families with kids etc. Would i stay again? No. But it's a nice place, not too far from central Berlin.

we (5 pers) had a very pleasant stay, next to u-bhf, bakery etc, and close to alexanderplatz. i might even say it is on walking distance from kreuzberg (did that 3 times) it seems like berlin never sleeps, the KM Allee is busy all night. (but we all slept well) i would certainly book this again.

Peter is absolutely true to his words: "I try to provide everything I can for my guest" He does everything he can to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Can't get better than this. absolutely wonderful. great city, nice and friendly people and perfect stay at peter's super clean apartment. far far better than staying at a hotel. right in the centre. everything close by...supermarket - around the corner, U-bahn station (just downstairs). We had everything we needed for a great week. Peter is super easy to deal with and everything went smooth as silk. I would certainly rent this apartment again if the opportunity to travel to Berlin presents itself, and I hope it does. Thank you Peter!

We really enjoyed our stay in Berlin and the flat of Peter. The flat is very easy to reach by car (Peter gave us good advices) and has free parking behind of the building. The welcome was very warm with a lot of usefull insiderinformation and the apartment was very nice and absolutely clean. Anne (the girl who made the check in with us) gave us a lot of brochures and maps which were very helpful for our daytrip plannings. The metro entrance in front of the house and the big supermarket around the corner are ideal too!! The TV-programs very not very international but our children were very tired after our tours>not a big issue. Roland

Peters flat was on an excellent location and the perfect base for our first visit to Berlin. Supermarket was around the corner, metrostation in front of the house and a lot of shops, cafes and restaurant in close walking distance. My friend and I were very surprised how simple the request, booking and check in was: Very German :-) organization and efficiency in all things The flat was very comfortable clean and very quiet. Anne, who did the check in with us) was a heartfull host and answered all of our questions+provide other interesting information. I can highly recommend property!!!

We stayed at Peters lovely apartment for three days and it was a great experience. We looked for a calm place to stay with our little son Max. Anne (the housekeeping team supervisor) was bringing a cot and a high chair (ours get lost while the flight) for Max. Thanks for that fast and efficient behaviour. The apartment is perfectly located: Our first walk brought us to the Alexanderplatz: only 10 minutes away. On the next morning we took the metro (the station was direct in front of the house). There is a shopping center around the corner with a supermarket that carries all of the essentials. The apartment itself was absolute clean and nice. The best was the silence!! We had have a great time in Peter apartment and will come back one day! It was like living in Berlin and not just visiting.

Schöne Fewo in historischer Umgebung

Freundliche, saubere (!) und funktionell eingereichtete Fewo in einem Architekturkomplex mit historisch-ostalgischem Charme. Perfekte Lage, denn die U-Bahn-Station ist tatsächlich direkt vor der Tür, zum Alex schafft man es aber auch noch zu Fuß. Trotz der Lage an einer verkehrsreichen Straße war von dieser kaum etwas zu hören - und wir sind als klassische "Landeier" schon sehr verwöhnt in Bezug auf Lärm! Beim Bäcker um die Ecke bekommt man die Berliner "Schrippen". Wer es noch bequemer liebt, dem bietet ein Cafe gegenüber Frühstück komplett an. Kleinere Läden und Restaurants sind in der Umgebung, auch eine Apotheke. Der e-mail Kontakt im Vorfeld der Buchung war sehr nett, zuverlässig und zügig. Eine Aufbettung für unser drittes Kind war problemlos möglich und der Vermieter sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit in der Organisation. Die Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort klappte hervorragend, dort wiederum ein sehr freundlicher Kontakt. Wir haben Berlin genossen! Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!

I have used these apartments twice and will use again shortly. The apratments are spacious, clean, have good fittings, nice furniture and comfortable beds. The location is great in front of the U5 U-Bahn station between Alexanderplatz and Friedrichshain (which is a cool place to hang out). Also walking distance from Ostbahnhof (a lot of ICE trains continue from the Bahnhof to the Ostbahnhof). Never any problem with communications. Nearby Italian restaurant is genuine and good. I would also recommend these apartments for business stays, although you may need to organise washing and ironing (laudramats are not ubiquitous in Germany are they are in other European countries but here is a good link http://www.toytowngermany.com/lofi/index.php/t100035.html).

Hi travellers, I took after four times booking a hotel for my business stay in Berlin I had have some possibilities to compare: This time I booked an apartment: Peters place was super!!! In this flat you find everything you need for staying in a big city but you althoug feellike home: The interieur is very stylish and combined with a lot of love for details. The flat was absolute clean and the white bed linen where very soft. Perfect traffic connection: metro station in front of the house. Very professional and quick booking+warm welcome by Anne while check in. Every time again!!
