The perfect location,four blocks to the Historic Seaport and Duval Street and within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants (Michael's, Mangia/Mangia, Cafe Sole & Azur..to name a few). Southard Comfort will amaze you with the decorating, local art throughout and attention to detail. Sit on the front porch and watch the world go by or enjoy the private landscaped rear deck and heated pool!
The cottage features two bedrooms, one with a king pillow top bed and down duvet, 20" CATV/DVD and ceiling fan, the other with a queen pillow top bed, 20" CATV and a ceiling fan. A wonderful loft with scuttles (an feature of historic Key West homes) with a queen pillow top bed and a 13" CATV/DVD.
The master king bedroom features an en-suite bath and includes a shower, tub and hairdryer. The second bath is accessed from the hallway and includes shower, hairdryer and full sized washer/dryer.
The great room, at the rear of the cottage, has a vaulted ceiling and French doors across the wall that opens up to a deck, heated pool, outdoor Bose stereo system, gas grill, teak lounge chairs w/umbrella and teak table & chairs covered (or not!) with a retractable canvas awning. The awning creates the perfect outdoor dining space or a retreat from Key West's brilliant sunny days.
The living room features a 24" flat screen CATV, DVD player w/DVD library, stereo, iPod station, library with local books and comfortable , intimate seating. The colorful and well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice-maker, glass top stove, garbage disposal and everything you could desire to prepare a gourmet feast!
