Pack your bags and get ready to watch sunrises over the ocean and sunsets on the lake from the upper and lower wrap around porches of this 5 bedroom, 2.5 baths Victorian. Just blocks from the beach and facing Silver Lake, the restored home is the perfect combination of period details and open, easy beach living.
Central air and heat, Hardwood Floors throughout. The Weber barbeque grill is just outside the back door in the backyard with patio furniture on both porches. The home has a private driveway with off street parking for 3.
The first floor has ½ bath, washer and dryer in the back door mud room, full equipped eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and small appliances. This leads to a large dining room that includes a sitting area with fireplace. The living room has oversized sofa, loveseat and chair with Flat panel HDTV and cable. The front living rooms doors open to a wraparound porch and the view of the lake.
2nd floor has master bedrooms with queen size bed and full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has two 2 full size beds and the third bedroom has two single beds. The second full bathroom is on this floor along with access to the upper wrap around deck.
3rd floor has one room with a queen size bed and the second room has a queen sleeper.
All bedrooms have closets. Linens not included.
Chairs and umbrella in the locker at the beach let you walk easily to the ocean and back home for lunch or enjoy food from the many boardwalk pavilions and restaurants. You can bring the kids to arts and crafts on the beach while you take yoga classes or walk or jog on the boardwalk from Belmar through Avon, Bradley Beach, Ocean Grove and Asbury or head south and Through Spring Lake and Sea Girt. You can cross the street and jog and jog or walk around the tree-lined lake path or sit in the gazebo or watch the kids on the playground equipment in the park on the lake.
A short drive brings you to Point Pleasant Boardwalk with rides and games for the kids, great Adventure, Minor league baseball, Outlet Shopping, Boating & Fishing at the marina and much more.
Desirable Neighborhood and great neighbors with a family focus rose plantings and lattice fences create a semiprivate area for outdoor barbeques and backyard relaxing in the sun or shade.
Trains to NYC or Hoboken and Northern NJ are within a few blocks walk, or just a 1 hr drive by car. No smoking or pets.

Year Purchased: 1998
We are three siblings all married with children of various ages. The six adults are all very different with a wide variety of interests. Except for one and that one subject if family it's the one thing we all agree is important to us all. This is why this place works for each of us.
Why the Owner Chose Belmar
As children our parents always took us to the shore for vacation. As adults we started going on vacations as a group to shore destinations. From time to time we would talk about buying a place of our own but never thought it would happen. Then this home came our way and we've been in love with it ever since. It's also the most time all 18 of us see one another throughout the year. This place is our place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It allows us to recharge our batteries. We can do nothing yet we are close enough to do almost any summertime activity. The house, the block the people are all very down to earth and we just love it!
The Unique Benefits of this Single Family Home
I love being able to relax at the shore and chill out while everyone else is scrambling around to figure out how to relax. At the same time be close enough to some action to take advantage of the big city sites, shows or sporting events. We love going as a group to see a few minor league baseball games every year.
